PDF files are easy to print and can be viewed on any device. This article will guide you through the process of saving a web page as a PDF using Google Chrome.
Steps
Using a Windows or Mac Computer

Open Google Chrome and navigate to the web page you want to save. Enter the URL of the desired page into the address bar at the top. Use the buttons and links on the website to access the specific content you wish to save. When you save the web page as a PDF, all visible sections will be included in the file.
In many cases, the formatting of a web page may change when it is converted into a PDF.

Click the ⋮ button. This button is located in the top-right corner of the Google Chrome window. Clicking it will open the Google Chrome menu.

Select Print…. This will open the Print menu. On the right side of the window, you'll see a preview of the web page. Here, you can observe any formatting changes that occur during the printing process.
- Alternatively, you can press Ctrl+P (on Windows) or ⌘ Cmd+P (on Mac).

Choose Save as PDF next to Destination. This option is located on the left side of the Print window. You'll see a list of available printers. Selecting "Save as PDF" means you want to save the document as a PDF file instead of printing it on paper.

Click Save. This is the blue button located at the top-left corner of the Print menu.

Name the PDF file. Use the input field next to "File name" on Windows or "Save as" on Mac to enter the name for your PDF file.

Select the folder to save the PDF file. Click on the folders on the left or in the center of the window to navigate to the directory where you want to save the PDF.

Click Save. This option is located at the bottom-right corner of the window. This action will save the web page as a PDF. To open the PDF file, simply double-click it in the saved folder.
Using an Android Smartphone



Navigate to the web page you want to save. Enter the URL of the desired page into the address bar at the top. Use the buttons and links on the website to access the specific content you wish to save. When saving the web page as a PDF, all visible sections will be included. In many cases, the formatting of the web page may change during the conversion to PDF.
- Saving a web page as a PDF only captures what is visible on the screen, not the entire web page.

Click on the ⋮ icon located at the top-right corner of the Google Chrome browser. This action will display the Chrome menu on your screen.

Select the Share… option from the Google Chrome menu. This will bring up a list of sharing options on your screen.

Tap on the Print option, which is located below the printer icon. This will open the Print menu on your screen.

Click the downward arrow ⏷ icon at the top-right corner of the Print menu. This will display a list of available printers.

Choose the Save as PDF option from the list of available printers. This will save your document in PDF format.



Select the folder where you want to save the file. Tap on one of the folders displayed in the menu to save your file there.

Tap on the Done option to save the webpage as a PDF. You can open the PDF file using the Files app to access the folder where the file is saved.
Using an iPhone or iPad


- If you need to save a webpage as a PDF, use Safari instead of Google Chrome.

Navigate to the webpage you wish to save. Enter the website's address into the address bar at the top of the page. Use the buttons and links on the website to access the specific content you want to save. When you save the webpage as a PDF, all visible parts will be saved. In many cases, the webpage's format may change when converted to a PDF.

Tap on the …. This is the three-dot icon located at the top-right corner of the screen. This action reveals the Google Chrome menu.
- If you're using Safari, tap on the Share icon. This is a blue button featuring a box with an outward arrow, displayed at the top-right corner of the window.

Tap on Read Later. You'll find this option near the bottom of the Google Chrome menu. This action adds the webpage to your Reading List, which you can access from the top section of the Google Chrome window.
- If you're using Safari, tap on Create PDF. Next, select Done at the top-left corner. Then, choose Save File To... and tap on a folder to save the file. Finally, select Add at the top-right corner.
