PayPal is a highly popular online payment method. Additionally, you can use PayPal to send money to other users. In this article, Mytour will guide you through the process of transferring funds via PayPal, which only requires the recipient's email address and phone number.
Steps

Log into your PayPal account and click on the "Send Payment" tab.

Enter the recipient's email address or mobile phone number.
- Make sure to verify the email or phone number before sending to avoid errors.
- If you have previously sent money to this person, click on the field instead of entering details again. You will see a list of recent recipients.

Enter the amount you wish to send, then choose the currency from the list. By 2010, PayPal had expanded to over 150 countries and offered 16 currency options.

Select the "Purchase" (Payment) or "Personal" tab, depending on the nature of the payment. Classify your payment by choosing one of the following options:
- The payment tab includes "Goods", "Services", or "eBay auction".
- The personal category includes "Gift", "Payment Owed", "Cash Advance", "Living Expenses", and "Other".

Click on the "Continue" button and wait for the payment summary page to load.
- Review the payment details, checking the amount and recipient information for accuracy.
- If your PayPal balance is sufficient, the corresponding amount will be automatically deducted from your account.

If your PayPal balance is less than the payment amount, PayPal will first use your balance and then deduct the remaining amount from another linked account.
- Click "Change" on the payment summary page if you want to use a different source for the transfer. The website will prompt you to select a credit card, debit card, or another linked account from which PayPal can withdraw the funds.

Click on "Send Money" at the bottom of the payment summary page once you have confirmed that all information is correct.
Advice
- You can add funds to your PayPal account before sending money, ensuring that your PayPal balance is sufficient to cover the payment. Click on the "Add Funds" tab on the account page to transfer money from your linked account to your PayPal balance.
Warnings
- When using a credit or debit card for payments, you may incur fees as per your bank's policies.
- By default, PayPal will deduct payments directly from your PayPal balance since it's considered the primary funding source, and linked accounts serve as secondary sources. To send payments from a different source, you must adjust your settings each time you send money.
- To send money from another source instead of your PayPal balance, you must verify your PayPal account, and ensure that the accounts you want to transfer funds from or to are linked with PayPal. Online accounts can be linked quickly, but linking traditional accounts may take a few days.
