Today, Mytour will guide you on how to change the theme on your Nintendo Switch. You can select between Basic White and Basic Black themes in the System Settings section. Currently, Nintendo does not offer additional themes for purchase or download on the Switch. This feature might be added in the future.
Steps
Turn on the Nintendo Switch. To power on the Nintendo Switch, press the power button located at the top left of the console. This round button has a circle with a line through it. The power button is next to the volume buttons on the left side.
Press the Home button. The Home button, which has a house icon, is located on the right Joy-Con controller. The home screen will appear.
Select the gear icon. The gear icon on the Nintendo Switch home screen opens the System Settings menu.
- To select items on the Nintendo Switch, double-click the icon on the screen or use the left Joy-Con controller to navigate to the desired option and press the A button on the right Joy-Con controller to select.
Select Themes. This is the 11th option in the System Settings menu. All options in the System Settings menu are listed in the left sidebar.
Select Basic White or Basic Black. These are the only themes currently available for the Nintendo Switch. The ability to purchase additional themes may be introduced in the future. Be sure to keep your system updated and check the news feed whenever you start the console to stay up to date with the latest updates and Nintendo news.
