Armitron is a well-known brand offering a variety of both analog and digital watch styles. While there may be slight differences between models, the process for setting the date and time is generally the same. The digital Armitron watches use buttons to adjust the date and time, while the analog models feature a crown for manual adjustment. Once you adjust the settings on your Armitron watch, you’ll be able to keep track of time accurately.
Steps
Setting an Armitron Digital Watch

Hold down the Reset button until the watch beeps. Locate the Reset button on the upper left side of the Armitron watch. Press and hold this button for 3 seconds or until the watch emits a beep. The numbers on the display will begin to blink.
- Depending on the model, this button may be labeled as Set instead of Reset.

Press the Mode button to toggle between time, minutes, day of the week, and date. The Mode button is typically located on the lower right side of the Armitron watch. When you press it, the flashing element on the display will be ready for adjustment. This allows you to easily switch between adjusting the time, minutes, day of the week, or date. Keep pressing the Mode button until the element you wish to adjust begins flashing.
- Any flashing element on the watch indicates the setting you are adjusting.

Increase the value by pressing the St/Stp button. The St/Stp button can be found on the upper right side of the Armitron watch. Whenever you need to change a value, press this button until the appropriate number begins flashing. To adjust back to a previous time or date, keep pressing until the cycle completes.
- Check whether the time is set to AM (morning) or PM (evening) to ensure all settings are accurate.
- On some models, such as the WR330, the St/Stp button may be labeled as Adj.

Press the Reset button on the upper left until you finish adjusting. Once you have set all the values correctly, press the Reset button to lock the settings. Make sure to check the watch the next day to ensure everything is working properly.
- The fourth button on the watch (if present) is not used to adjust the time or date.
Setting the Date and Time on an Armitron Analog Watch

Pull the crown on the side of the Armitron watch out one click to set the date. The crown is the rotating button located on the left or right side of the watch. You can use your fingernail to pull the crown out until you hear a ‘click’. If you hear more than one ‘click’, press the crown back in and pull it out gently again.
- If the watch doesn’t display the date, the crown will have only one click for setting the time. You can skip this step.

Turn the crown until the correct number appears in the date window. Rotate the crown clockwise or counterclockwise (depending on the specific model). Keep turning until the desired date appears in the window on the watch face. If you only wish to set the date, simply push the crown back in fully to finish the adjustment.
- Avoid adjusting the date between 11 PM and 5 AM, as this is when the date on the watch changes.

Pull the crown out two clicks to adjust the day of the week and time. For watches that display the day of the week and date, pull the crown out until you hear two ‘clicks’. If the watch does not have these features, just pull the crown out one click (or until it won’t pull out any further).

Turn the crown until the day of the week displays correctly. Rotate the crown clockwise or counterclockwise (depending on the model you're using). If the day doesn't change by this method, rotate the hour hand around the dial twice to set it to a 24-hour format (see how to adjust the time below). Continue turning the crown until the correct day is displayed.
- Avoid setting the day between 11 PM and 5 AM, as this is when the date transitions on the watch.

Adjust the time by turning the crown. After setting the day of the week and date, turn the crown until the hands point to the desired time. Try to adjust as accurately as possible so the watch is only a few minutes off.
- The hands will not begin to move until you push the crown back to its original position.
- If the watch has a military time face, double-check that the time matches the current time accurately.

Push the crown all the way back in to finalize the time setting. After adjusting all the components, push the crown back into its original position. Periodically check to ensure the watch is keeping accurate time.
- If the watch continues to run slow, you may need to replace the battery.

That's it.
Tips
- You can enter the serial number located on the back of your watch into the Armitron website to find the online manual for that specific model.
