If you want to take an Uber and make multiple stops along the way, you can set it up right when you book the ride. This guide will help you travel seamlessly across the city without needing to update your ride details repeatedly – just set it up once and complete your journey.
Steps

Open the Uber app.

Make sure your Uber app is up to date. The feature to book a ride with multiple stops is available only in the latest version of the Uber app on most devices (including iPhone and Android). Note: The Uber app from the Windows Store does not yet support this feature.

Tap on the 'Where to' field. Two additional fields will appear, allowing you to complete your request for a simple trip.

Ensure the Pickup location matches the place you want the driver to pick you up from. Most users select 'Current Location' or 'Home' (if leaving from there), but if you prefer not to be picked up from a private location, you can customize it by clicking the dialog box at the top of the current display frame.

Find and click the plus sign next to the 'Where to?' field in the dialog box currently showing. If you don't see the plus sign, you may need to completely uninstall the app and reinstall it. Sometimes, after updates, Uber glitches, features disappear, and then reappear after a few hours (even in the latest version of the app). This action will restart the feature to add another stop to your trip – you'll notice the 'Where to?' label change to 'Add a stop,' and a new stop will be added to your list.

Click on the 'Add a stop' text box to fill in the missing information.

Enter your destination address into the 'Where to?' field at the top of the empty destination page that appears, select the address from 'Saved Places and Friends' or choose a popular location from the list displayed below the top two options.

Click on the 'Add a stop' text box to select your next stop.

Add another location if you'd like to have a third or fourth stop by repeating the same process with the third and final dialog box that appears.

Tap the 'Done' button to finalize your trip request form. You will need to agree to visit your stop within 3 minutes, or the fare will increase due to the waiting time for the driver.

Select the Uber package you prefer. Uber offers various transportation options at different price points; you'll see the list below the map interface. Choices will vary depending on your location, but typically include:
- uberX – Standard cars, seating 1-4 people. This includes most regular cars, but sometimes you might find a 5-7 seat car if the driver has it available.
- uberXL – SUV vehicles, seating 4 or more, and naturally more expensive than uberX. This option typically includes minivans or larger vehicles with spacious cabins and luggage space.
- PREMIUM and PREMIUM SUV – Luxury cars, seating 1-4 people (the most expensive option). However, this choice may not be available in your area.

Your payment information must be accurate. Your current payment method (credit/debit card or PayPal) will be listed just below the Uber vehicle options. To change your payment method, tap on the current one and select another available option (if any), or click on Add Payment Method to add a new payment option. If possible, Uber will default to 'Apple Pay' or another remote payment method.

Tap on the Request button to book your ride.

Wait for your Uber driver to arrive. You will see the estimated wait time next to the driver's name.
Tips
- You can use this method to pick up multiple people if you have their addresses.
Warnings
- If you cancel the ride more than five minutes after booking, you may be charged a fee.
