How to Share a Netflix Account

If you're using Netflix on a mobile device or tablet, you can easily share a link to your favorite movie or show by sending it through any messaging app. The following guide will teach you how to share content from Netflix as well as how to share your Netflix account with others.

Open Netflix. The app looks like a red "N" icon and can be found on your home screen, in the app drawer, or by searching for it.

• Mobile devices include iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touches, as well as Android phones and tablets.

Navigate to the details page of the movie or show you want to share. When you open Netflix, you'll be on the main page where suggested movies, lists, and ongoing shows are displayed. You can click on these programs to go to their detailed information page.

Tap on a sharing option. When you click on a sharing method like Messenger, the app will open a message window with a link to the movie's details page. You can add contacts to send it to.

Go to https://netflix.com or open the Netflix app. If you're not logged in, do so to continue.

• You can share your Netflix account with up to 5 people, but depending on your plan, only a certain number of people can watch at the same time.
• The Basic plan allows one person to watch at a time. The Standard plan lets two people watch at the same time, while the Premium plan allows four people to watch simultaneously on the same account.

Click or tap on +Add Profile. It will be on the profile selection screen (the one with "Who's watching?" at the top).

• If you're using Netflix on a computer and don’t see this option, click on your name or profile picture in the top right corner, then tap Manage Profiles.

Create a profile for the person you want to share your account with. The profile should have its own name and picture, but the person must log in with your Netflix username and password.

Provide your account username and password to the person you want to share with. Once they log in, they can select their profile and start watching movies and shows.

• By sharing your password, they will have access to all of your Netflix account information. Choose wisely.
• If you're sharing your account, you might want to opt for a plan that allows up to four viewers at once.
