Thick eyebrows are currently in style, but achieving your ideal pair isn't something that happens overnight. If you've been trimming your eyebrows for a while, they may be quite thin. The good news is that you can grow a beautiful pair of eyebrows in no time! With patience, the right products, and a bit of effort, you can stimulate hair follicles and promote rapid eyebrow growth. You can even combine multiple methods for the best results.
Steps
Apply products to your eyebrows overnight

Choose your preferred product. To stimulate eyebrow growth quickly, you need to lock in moisture while you sleep. Several products can help you achieve this, and some of them may already be in your home. Here are some effective options:
- Castor oil – Castor oil contains growth-stimulating proteins, though it may cause skin irritation.
- Olive oil – Olive oil locks in moisture to encourage eyebrow growth. It’s a natural and affordable product.
- Vaseline – Vaseline helps seal in moisture. Avoid it if you have oily or acne-prone skin.
- Eyebrow growth serum – These serums contain vitamins and peptides to stimulate growth. They are highly effective but can cost anywhere from a few hundred thousand to over a million VND per bottle.

Test the skin's reaction. Before applying any product to your eyebrows, you should first test it on a less visible area of skin. Dab a small amount on the inside of your wrist or on the side of your neck. Wait for 4-6 hours, then check if your skin becomes red, irritated, or develops a rash. If it does, discontinue use of the product.
- It's best to test one product at a time to avoid confusion.
- Eyebrow growth serums, castor oil, and Vaseline tend to be more irritating than olive oil and coconut oil, but you may still be allergic to any of these products.

Wash your face before bed. Make sure to cleanse your face at night, paying special attention to the skin around your eyebrows. Rinse with cool water, ensuring all cleanser is thoroughly washed off.
- Any cleanser you typically use will work fine.
- Don't forget to exfoliate your skin a few times a week after cleansing.

Apply the product to your eyebrows. If using an eyebrow growth serum, use the applicator included with the product to apply it. For other products (castor oil, coconut oil, olive oil, or Vaseline), take a small coin-sized amount in your hands to warm it up, then apply it to your eyebrows.
- Massage your eyebrows for 1-2 minutes to stimulate growth, allowing the product to absorb into the skin.
- If you prefer not to use your fingers, you can apply the product with a cotton swab.
- Avoid getting the product in your eyes. If it does get in your eyes, rinse with water immediately.

Wash your face again in the morning. Cleanse your face as soon as you wake up. Be sure to wash your eyebrows thoroughly to remove any leftover product. Rinse your eyebrows and face with cool water.
Stimulate Eyebrow Growth

Stop trimming your eyebrows for at least 12 weeks. Eyebrows can take up to a year to fully grow, but the first few months are the hardest. You should avoid touching your eyebrows for 12 weeks. Refrain from plucking, waxing, threading, or any other hair removal methods during this period.
- You can use eyebrow pencils or powders to fill in gaps while your eyebrows are growing.
- Apply concealer around your eyebrows to hide any uneven growth.

Brush your eyebrows daily with an eyebrow brush. Brushing your eyebrows helps stimulate hair growth. You can buy this type of brush at beauty stores and use it every day. This method also helps you shape your eyebrows as they start to grow unevenly.

Exfoliate the eyebrow area three times a week. Exfoliating the skin around your eyebrows can help stimulate hair follicles and promote eyebrow growth. You can either buy facial exfoliating creams or make your own. After washing your face, gently rub the exfoliant on your eyebrows and the surrounding skin in circular motions, then rinse thoroughly.
- Ensure the product is thoroughly washed off your eyebrows.

Consume foods that promote hair growth. Foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins E and A, and lactic acid are beneficial for hair growth. Try to incorporate more of these vitamin- and acid-rich foods into your diet.
- Salmon, walnuts, Brussels sprouts, spinach, and kale are rich in omega-3 fatty acids.
- Carrots, sweet potatoes, kale, and spinach are high in vitamin A.
- Almonds, avocados, tomatoes, olives, and broccoli are excellent sources of vitamin E.

Eat biotin-rich foods. Biotin, a B vitamin, is highly effective in promoting hair growth. You can consume biotin-rich foods and/or consider taking supplements. Adults should aim for around 25-30 mcg per day. Some biotin-rich foods include:
- Eggs – 8 mcg per egg
- Yogurt – 4 mcg per cup (240 ml)
- Salmon – 4-5 mcg per 110 g
- Almonds – 14 mcg per ¼ cup (60 ml)

Exercise daily to improve blood circulation. Regular physical activity helps pump blood and enhances circulation throughout the body, which in turn promotes faster hair growth. Consistent exercise can also help distribute natural oils across your hair, making it healthier and encouraging the growth of new hair.

Manage your stress. Stress can have a wide range of negative effects on the body, including delayed hair growth. If you're experiencing a lot of pressure or stress, consider trying some stress-relieving techniques. If your stress levels become overwhelming, you may want to consider visiting a therapist. Some stress-relief methods include:
- Meditation
- Yoga
- Massage
- Journaling
- Talking to a friend
- Taking a walk

See a doctor. Hormonal imbalances, allergies, or other health conditions can lead to slow hair growth or even hair loss. Additionally, certain medications may cause side effects related to hair health. If you suspect you may be in this situation, visit a doctor to identify the cause.
