Managing Tagged Posts on Desktop

Click your profile icon. Tag reviewing allows you to approve or reject posts you're tagged in. Rejected posts will still appear elsewhere on Facebook but won't be visible on your profile. To enable this, first click on the profile icon in the top right corner of the screen.

Go to Settings & Privacy. To find the options for managing tagged posts and visibility, click on your profile photo and then choose Settings & Privacy from the dropdown menu.

Tap on Settings. In the dropdown menu, select Settings to enter the settings area of your account.

Tap on Profile and tagging. Under Audience and visibility, you will find the Profile and tagging option. Click on it to modify your settings related to reviewing and visibility of tagged posts.

Scroll to the "Reviewing" section and activate review options. The Reviewing section is located at the bottom of the Profile and tagging page. You will see two toggles: one for approving tags added to your posts and another for reviewing posts you're tagged in before they appear on your profile. Toggle both options to enable reviews!
- If enabled, the toggle will move to the right, and the button will appear blue.
- If disabled, the toggle will be on the left, and the button will appear grey.
- For more privacy, consider adjusting other settings to protect your Facebook account further.
Can you stop someone from tagging you on Facebook?

It’s not possible to outright prevent someone from tagging you. Unfortunately, there’s no way to stop someone from tagging you in their post (unless you block them or unfriend them), but you do have control over whether their tagged posts show up on your timeline and profile. If you don’t want a post with your tag to appear, you can adjust your settings to hide it.
- You also have the option to modify your Facebook account settings, allowing everyone to see posts you're tagged in or even disable post reviewing whenever you want, so the changes you make aren’t permanent!
