Mytour will guide you on how to determine if someone has blocked you on Facebook Messenger. Although Facebook hides this information for privacy reasons, there are certain signs that can help you figure out if someone has blocked your messages.
Steps
On your phone or tablet

Open Facebook Messenger. Look for the blue speech bubble icon with a white lightning bolt, which can be found on the Home screen or in the app drawer (if you are using an Android device).
- Blocking messages is different from blocking someone on Facebook. When someone blocks your messages, you’re still friends on Facebook and can interact on each other's timelines. They can also unblock you at any time.

Type the person's name in the search box at the top of the screen. A list of names matching what you entered will appear.

Click on the person's name in the search results. This will open the conversation with that individual.

Type a message in the text box at the bottom of the chat screen.

Click the send button with the paper airplane icon. If you receive a pop-up message saying, 'This person isn’t available right now,' it means the recipient has either blocked your messages, deactivated their account, or blocked you on Facebook.
- If no error appears, your message is being sent to their inbox, but they might not be logged in to read it yet.

Determine if someone has deactivated their account or blocked you. If you receive an error message, the final step is to use the Facebook app to check if anything has changed on their profile.
- Open Facebook (the blue icon with the white 'f' on the Home screen) and search for their name. If you can't find their profile, they may have deactivated their account or blocked you. If their profile still appears normally, they have only blocked your messages.
- If you can't find their profile, the only way to know if you've been blocked is to ask a mutual friend to check. If the mutual friend can see their profile but you cannot, it means you've been completely blocked by that user.
On a computer

Navigate to https://www.messenger.com. You can use any web browser to access Facebook Messenger on your computer.
- Blocking messages is different from blocking someone on Facebook. When someone blocks your messages, you both remain friends on Facebook and can interact on each other's timelines. They can also unblock you at any time.

Log into your account. If you are already logged in, you'll see a list of recent conversations. If not, click on Continue as “your name” or enter your login details when prompted.

Type the person's name into the search bar at the top-left corner of the screen. As you type, a list of contacts will appear.

Click on their name from the search results. A conversation with this person will open up.

Type a message into the text box at the bottom of the screen.

Press ↵ Enter or ⏎ Return. If the message appears in the chat box (where you just typed) with the message 'This person isn’t available right now,' there are three possibilities: the person has blocked your messages, deactivated their account, or blocked you on Facebook.
- If there is no error, it means your message is being sent to their inbox. It's possible that the person just hasn't logged in to read it yet.

- If you can't find their profile, the only way to know if you have been blocked is to ask a mutual friend to view their profile. If the mutual friend can see their profile and you cannot, it means you have been completely blocked by that user.
