See which of your friends are screenshotting your Snapchat Stories
Wondering who's capturing your Snapchat Story? Just check the Story details—if you're friends, you'll see them. This also includes public Stories, but only if you're connected. Here's how to view who screenshotted your Story on iPhone, iPad, or Android.
How to Spot Who Saved Your Snapchat Story
To see who screenshotted your Snapchat Story, open the Story and tap the up arrow. Look for the icon that resembles a triangle with lines—this shows who saved it. You’ll only see friends here; public viewers won’t appear unless they’re added.
Instructions
Check Who Took a Screenshot

Tap your profile icon. It's located in the top-left corner.

Select the story you want to view. Tap the circle, not the Story name, to open it fully. It's listed under the Stories section.
- There's no current method to see who screenshotted a Public Story.
- Snapchat Plus users can tap Story Rewatch to find out who viewed their Story multiple times.

Hit the up arrow. This reveals the Story’s insights. You’ll notice an eye icon for viewers and a triangle with lines for screenshots.

Check the user list. Under My Friends, you’ll see everyone who viewed your Story. A triangle icon with lines next to a name indicates they took a screenshot.
What Exactly Are Snapchat Stories?

Stories let you share photos and videos with all your friends. Unlike direct Snaps, which are sent privately, Snapchat Stories allow you to post Snaps publicly or to your friends for 24 hours.
