Today, Mytour will guide you through the process of moving Microsoft Office from one computer to another. To install Microsoft Office on a new device, you must first deactivate your Office 365 account on the old computer. Note that some older versions of Microsoft Office cannot be transferred to a new computer.
Steps
Deactivate Office on the Old Computer

Visit https://stores.office.com/myaccount/ using a web browser. Launch the web browser on the old computer where Microsoft Office is currently installed.

Log in to Microsoft Store. Use the email address and password associated with your Microsoft account to sign in. Once logged in, the website will display the installations you have activated.

Click on Install. This orange button is located below the column labeled "Install".

Click on Deactivate Install. This option is located below the "Installed" column.

Click on Deactivate in the pop-up dialog box. This confirms that you want to deactivate the current Microsoft Office installation. Any future use of Microsoft Office may be restricted.
Uninstall Office on Windows

Click the Windows Search button with the hourglass or circular icon. This button is located next to the Windows Start menu.
Type Control Panel into the search bar. The search bar is located at the bottom of the search menu.

Click on Control Panel. The application features a blue frame with several charts inside.

Click on Uninstall a program. This option is located under the green "Programs" heading. All programs currently installed on your computer will be displayed.
- If you can't find it, select "Category" from the "View By:" dropdown menu. This dropdown is located in the top-right corner of the Control Panel.

Click to highlight Microsoft Office. This could be "Microsoft Office 365", "Microsoft Office 2016", or any other version of Microsoft Office you have subscribed to.

Click on Uninstall. This option is located above the program list, between the "Organize" and "Change" buttons.

Click on Uninstall in the pop-up dialog box. This confirms your intention to uninstall Microsoft Office, and the uninstallation process will begin.

Click on Close in the pop-up dialog box. This button will appear once Microsoft Office has been successfully uninstalled.
Uninstall Office on Mac

Click on the Finder application with the blue and white smiley face icon. This app is typically located in the dock.

Click on Applications in the left-hand panel.

Right-click on Microsoft Office. This could be Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Office 2016, or any other version of Microsoft Office you have installed.
- If you're using a Magic Mouse or trackpad, you can right-click by tapping with two fingers.

Click on Move to Trash. Microsoft Office will be uninstalled. You can then empty the trash to free up hard drive space.
Install Office on the New Computer

Visit https://stores.office.com/myaccount/ using a web browser. Launch the web browser on the new computer where you want to install Microsoft Office.

Log in to Microsoft Store. Use the email address and password associated with your Microsoft account to sign in.

Click on Install. This orange button is located below the column labeled "Install".

Click on Install. This orange button is located to the right of the "Install Information" box. The setup file will begin downloading.

Click on the setup file. This is the .exe file that was just downloaded. By default, downloaded files are usually found in the Downloads folder. The file may also appear at the bottom of the browser window, depending on the web browser you are using.

Click on Run in the pop-up dialog box. Microsoft Office will begin installing.

Click on Next. This button appears once Microsoft Office installation is complete. An introductory video will start playing, and you can click "Next" again if you prefer not to watch it.

Click on Sign In. This orange button is located in the pop-up Windows dialog box.

Log in using the email address and password linked to your Microsoft account. You can now use Microsoft Office on your new computer. However, the software will continue installing in the background for a while. Therefore, avoid restarting or shutting down your computer until the installation is fully complete.
