How to Unblock Flash Player

This article provides instructions on how to enable Flash Player in your browser on a computer. Flash Player is essential for displaying Flash content, such as videos and images, when browsing websites. You can activate Flash Player from the Settings menu in Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, and Safari, but if you're using Firefox, you'll need to download Adobe Flash Player to view Flash content.

Click on Settings in the menu. This action will open the Settings page in a new tab.

Scroll down and select Advanced ▼ (Advanced) at the bottom of the page. You will see additional options here.

Scroll down and select Content Settings … (Website settings…) near the bottom of the "Privacy and security" section.

Click on the Flash option in the middle of the page.

• Bạn có thể bỏ qua bước này tùy thuộc vào thiết lập tải về của Firefox.

Đóng cửa sổ trình duyệt đang mở rồi mở lại Firefox. Hãy đảm bảo bạn chỉ thực hiện việc này sau khi việc cài đặt Adobe Flash Player đã hoàn tất.

Nhấp vào ☰ ở phía trên góc phải cửa sổ Firefox để mở trình đơn.

Nhấp vào lựa chọn Add-ons (Tiện ích mở rộng) trong trình đơn để mở danh sách các tiện ích trên Firefox.

View Flash content on Firefox. If you've enabled automatic mode for Flash Player, Flash content will display automatically when you visit a website.

• If you’ve set the Flash Player in your browser to "Ask to Activate," you will need to click on the Flash content and then click Allow when Firefox prompts you.

Open Microsoft Edge by clicking or double-clicking the application with the white "e" icon on a blue background, or the dark blue "e" icon.

Click the ⋯ button in the top-right corner of the Edge window to open the menu.

Click Settings from the menu.

Scroll down and click on View advanced settings at the bottom of the Settings menu.

Launch Internet Explorer by clicking or double-clicking the application with the blue "e" icon and the yellow ribbon.

Click on Manage add-ons near the top of the menu to open a new window.

Click on the Toolbars and Extensions tab located in the upper-left corner of the window.

Click on the "Show" dropdown box in the bottom-left corner of the window to open the menu.

Click on All add-ons in the displayed menu.

Select Shockwave Flash Object. Scroll down to the middle of the window to locate Shockwave Flash Object, then click on it to select.

Click on the Enable option at the bottom-right corner of the window to enable Flash Player.

• If you see the Disable button, it means Flash Player is already enabled on Internet Explorer.

Click on Close (Close) at the bottom right corner of the window. This action will save the changes and close the window. From now on, Internet Explorer will begin displaying Flash content automatically.

• Internet Explorer will automatically load and display Flash content, so you don’t need to manually enable it.

Open Safari by clicking on the app with the blue compass icon in the Dock on your Mac.

Click on Safari at the top left corner of the screen to open the menu.

Click on the Preferences… option in the Safari menu to open a new window.

Click on the Websites tab located at the top of the window.

Click on the Adobe Flash Player tab. This option is located under the "Plug-ins" section at the lower left corner of the window.

Click the dropdown for "When visiting other websites" in the lower right corner of the window to open the menu.

Click on the On option in the selection box. This will activate the Flash Player and allow it to display Flash content on any page not listed in the "Adobe Flash Player" window.

• Safari will now automatically load Flash content, eliminating the need for you to allow it manually.

Enable Adobe Flash Player for the website you're currently visiting. If you see the word "Off" next to any website in the main window, click on the "Off" box, then select On from the dropdown menu.

• Although outdated, Flash content is still used to load some parts of a webpage.
• After enabling Flash, you may need to refresh the page containing Flash content or restart the browser to view the Flash content.

• Flash content can expose your computer to malware and malicious software. It’s advisable to use a secure browser (such as Chrome, Firefox, or Safari) when viewing Flash content.
