You’ve unlocked Baby Mario in Mario Kart Wii, but what’s the point if you can’t race alongside his brother? Baby Luigi is one of the toughest characters to unlock, mainly due to the number of tracks you need to complete. There are several methods to unlock Baby Luigi. Keep reading to find out how to do it.
Steps
Unlock the Expert Ghost
Start by playing the Time Trial challenge. You will need to unlock 8 Expert Ghosts. You can race against these ghost data when playing Time Trial mode. The Expert Ghosts are unlocked by defeating the Normal Ghost (Staff Ghost) in each track. The Normal Ghost is marked with "Nin★" next to the name.
- Choose Single Player mode from the Main Menu. Then, select the Time Trial challenge.
Pick any character. Since you need to race at full speed, choose the character and vehicle you feel most comfortable with.
Select any race track. You need to win at least 8 races, so choose the tracks you are most familiar with. This will help you avoid frustration during the races.
Choose Ghost Data. After selecting the race track, you can choose the Ghost Data that suits you. Be sure to select data with "Nin★" next to the name.
Race against the Ghost. The race begins, and the Ghost will appear alongside you on the track. To unlock the Expert Ghost, you must finish approximately 7 seconds faster than the Ghost. The exact time required may vary depending on the Ghost, so try to outpace the Ghost as much as possible.
- A message at the bottom of the screen will read, "A fast staff ghost has appeared!"
- You don't need to defeat the Expert Ghost, just unlock it.
- Repeat these steps until you've unlocked 8 Expert Ghosts by defeating regular Ghosts on 8 different tracks.
Once you've unlocked the eighth Ghost, go back to the character selection screen to unlock Baby Luigi! Exit the game, return to the main menu, and enter the character selection screen again.

- Cùng với nhân vật Baby Daisy, Baby Luigi có tốc độ nhanh hơn bình thường, cụ thể là khi lái những xe như Bullet Bike (Xe hình viên đạn) sẽ có tốc độ tối đa cao hơn bình thường một chút.
- Cùng với Baby Mario, nhân vật này có điểm thưởng trọng lượng nhiều nhất. Trong game, trọng lượng của nhân vật này có thể khiến trọng lượng của chiếc xe tăng lên một cách đáng kể.
