Aquaman is a versatile character in LEGO Batman 2, and he can become a key member of your team, especially when you're playing in Free Play mode. To unlock Aquaman, you'll need a decent amount of Gold Bricks (the golden LEGO bricks in the game), but you'll spend very few Studs (the game's currency). The hardest part is locating the door to unlock Aquaman, which requires a flying character to access.
Steps to Unlock Aquaman

Collect 70 Gold Bricks. To unlock the door that grants access to Aquaman, you'll need to gather at least 70 Gold Bricks. You can earn 60 Gold Bricks by completing objectives in Story Mode, such as finishing levels, rescuing citizens, or collecting minikit parts. Additionally, Gold Bricks are hidden around the city, with a total of 250 available in the game.

Gather 125,000 Studs. Once you have completed the door to Aquaman's character, you will need 125,000 Studs to purchase him. Studs can be collected throughout the game as you explore and complete missions.

Find the Door. After collecting enough Gold Bricks, your next task is to locate the dismantled door that unlocks Aquaman. You can find this door in the north-west part of the city, to the east of Gotham Beach, near the Ace Chemicals area. Since the door is on a rooftop, you'll need a flying character to reach it.

Assemble the Door. Press the Assemble button to piece together the door from the scattered parts on the ground. Once the door is fully assembled, Aquaman will step out.

Purchase Aquaman. Approach Aquaman and press the appropriate button (A on Xbox 360 or X on PS3) to buy the character. You will need 125,000 Studs. After purchasing Aquaman, you can select him in Free Play mode.

Use Aquaman. Aquaman is a powerful character. Equipped with his sharp trident, Aquaman can shoot water and is one of the few characters capable of diving underwater. Dive to specific locations to find Studs and Gold Bricks. Additionally, Aquaman possesses Super Strength, allowing him to interact with objects requiring this skill.
Tips
- Aquaman can use his trident to clean the floor with ease.
