Are you looking to use your old Xbox 360 controller with your Xbox One? Although the Xbox 360 controller cannot connect directly to the Xbox One, you can still use it by connecting through a Windows PC. Today, Mytour will guide you on how to connect your Xbox 360 controller to a Windows 10 PC and stream Xbox One games via the Xbox app on Windows 10. To do this, you'll need an Xbox One console, a Windows PC, and either a wired Xbox 360 controller or a wireless Xbox 360 controller with a compatible adapter.
Steps

Connect the Xbox 360 controller to the PC. You'll need to use a wired Xbox 360 controller that connects via a USB port or a wireless controller with an adapter. Your PC must be running Windows 10 and connected to the same network as your Xbox One.
- Both devices need to be connected to the home network in the same way. This method will not work if one device is connected via Ethernet while the other is using Wi-Fi.

Power on the Xbox One. While the Xbox 360 controller cannot control the Xbox One, the console still needs to be turned on.

Open the Xbox app on your PC. The Xbox app has a green icon with the Xbox logo. By default, it can be found in the Start menu under the "Play and explore" section.
- You must log in to the Xbox app using the same account you use on your Xbox One.

Click on Connection (Connect). This Xbox One icon appears in the left sidebar of the Xbox app. If your Xbox One is connected to the same network, it will be detected.

Click on Stream (Stream). This option is located at the top of the screen, next to the two Wi-Fi signals with a dot in the center. Xbox One will stream to your computer. Now you can play Xbox One using the Xbox 360 controller connected to your PC. You can view Xbox One content on your TV or computer screen.
Tips
- For the best results, connect both your PC and Xbox One to the router via a wired (Ethernet) connection.
- To minimize lag and delays, click the "Change Quality" button in the top-right corner of the Xbox app and select the lowest configuration settings. Even with lower settings, you can still view high-quality visuals on your TV.
