Google Chrome is a widely used web browser. It has a tool that users can activate in various ways to search for specific words or phrases on a webpage, known as 'Find' (or 'Tìm' in the Vietnamese version).
Steps
Activate the Find tool using the mouse

Navigate to the website where you want to search. After opening Chrome, type the website's URL into the address bar and press ↵ Enter. Wait for the page to fully load before proceeding to the next step.

Click on the icon with three horizontal bars located in the upper right corner of your browser window. On desktop, this button is right below the 'X' button (used to close the browser). When you hover your cursor over the icon, the phrase 'Customize and control Google Chrome' will appear.

Find and click the 'Find' option. After clicking, the dropdown menu will disappear and be replaced with a small text box just below the address bar. Inside the text box, you'll see the search bar, arrows pointing up and down, and the 'X'.

Type the word or phrase you need to find on the webpage. If you haven't used the Find tool before, the search bar will be empty. However, if you have used it previously, make sure to clear the old keyword in the search bar.
- You can press ↵ Enter once you finish typing, though it's not strictly necessary. Once you finish typing, Chrome will automatically begin searching for the keyword.

Determine how many times the word or phrase appears on the page. Once you enter the keyword, Chrome will highlight all instances of the word on the page. For example, the search tool will show '1 of 20' (1 of 20) next to the search box to indicate the occurrence number.
- You can click the up and down arrows to scroll through the instances of the word or phrase.
- When you click the arrow, the current instance will be highlighted in orange (instead of the previous yellow highlight).

Click on the 'X' or press the Escape (Esc) key to close the Find tool. Once you're done searching, you can use either method to close the dialog box. All highlighted markings will disappear.
Use the keyboard shortcut to open the Find tool.

Open the website you wish to search. After launching Google Chrome, type the website URL into the address bar and press ↵ Enter. Wait for the page to load completely before proceeding to the next step.

Use the keyboard to activate the Find tool. Depending on the type of computer (e.g., Windows or Mac), the keyboard shortcut will differ:
- On a regular computer, press Ctrl+F.
- On a Mac, press ⌘ Command+F.

The search bar will appear from the menu bar of Chrome, located in the upper right corner of the webpage.

Enter the word or phrase you want to find on the website. The search bar will be empty if you haven't used the Find tool before. If you've used it previously, you will need to clear the last word you searched for.
- There's no need to press ↵ Enter once you type it, as Chrome will automatically begin searching for the term you enter.

Scroll through each instance of the word or phrase that appears on the page. After entering the keyword, Chrome will highlight every occurrence of that word on the website. For example, the search feature will display '1 of 20' to indicate how many times the word has appeared on the page.
- You can click the up and down arrows to navigate through each instance of the word or phrase.
- When you click the arrows, the currently highlighted instance will be highlighted in orange (previously yellow).

Click the 'X' or press the Escape (Esc) key to close the Find tool. Once you're done, either of these two methods can be used to close the search box. The highlighted text will disappear.
Tip
- The Find tool is different from a search engine. The Find tool only searches for keywords on the specific webpage you are viewing, whereas a search engine will look for the keyword across all webpages where it appears.
