The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) issues a residence permit to expatriates holding an employment visa. This is one of the most crucial documents, alongside your Visa and Passport, that you must possess while living in KSA. The Iqama typically lasts between 1 and 2 years and must remain valid as long as you are residing in the country. To stay informed about the validity of your residence permit, simply visit the KSA Ministry of Interior's online platform.
Procedure
Understanding Your Iqama

Obtain your Iqama.
The Iqama ID is a white card featuring yellow holographic imprints. It displays your photo, along with the words 'Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ministry of Interior' and 'Residence Permit'.

Locate your Iqama number. The Iqama number is a 10-digit numerical code situated at the bottom center of your residence card, or occasionally directly beneath your photograph.

Navigate to the KSA Ministry of Interior website. After identifying your Iqama number, open a web browser and go to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Interior website at https://www.moi.gov.sa/wps/vanityurl/en/home.
Verifying Your Iqama Status

Switch the language. To change the website's language to English, select 'English' from the dropdown in the top left corner.

Explore the site’s online services. Click on 'E-Services' in the menu bar at the top of the homepage to access the various online services provided by the Ministry.

Access the online Iqama status service. From the left menu, select 'Passport' and then click on 'Query Iqama Expiry Service' from the submenu.
