How to View Memories on Facebook

This article will show you how to view your memories in the 'On This Day' section on Facebook. The 'On This Day' feature allows you to look back at your past activities on Facebook from one or more years ago, based on the current date.

Open the Facebook app. The app icon is a white 'F' on a blue background.

• If you're not logged into Facebook, enter your email address (or phone number) and password, then tap Log In.

Tap the ☰. This icon is located at the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Scroll down and tap See More (See more). This option is found below the first set of options.

Select On This Day (This Day Last Year).

This action will display your memories page.

Scroll down to view your memories. Facebook will show a variety of statuses, photos, and other memories from this day in previous years.

• You will also see a section at the bottom of the page indicating that the memories for today have been displayed.

Open the Facebook app. This app features an icon with a white letter "F" set against a blue background.

• If you're not logged into Facebook yet, enter your email address (or phone number) and password, then tap Log In.

Tap on the ☰. You can find this icon at the top right corner of your screen.

Scroll down and select See More (See More). This option is located at the bottom of the list of available options.

Tap On This Day (On This Day). This action will take you to the page showing your memories.

Scroll down to view the memories. Facebook will display posts, photos, and other memories from today in previous years.

• You’ll also find a message at the bottom of the page stating that today’s memories have come to an end.

Go to Facebook. This will take you to Facebook's homepage if you're already logged in.

• If you're not logged in, enter your email address (or phone number) and password in the fields at the top-right corner of the page, then click Log In.

Click on the See More option under the "Explore" tab. The Explore tab can be found on the left side of the Facebook homepage.

Select On This Day (This day in previous years). The "On This Day" feature will display the "Memories" that you see on the homepage.

Scroll down to view the memories. You'll see several statuses, photos, and other memories from this day in past years.

• A message will also appear at the bottom of the page indicating that today's memories have been fully displayed.

• You can share a memory by clicking the Share button below the memory and selecting where to share it.
