This guide will walk you through the steps to watch multiple Twitch channels at the same time on your personal computer (PC) or Mac. You can accomplish this using platforms like TwitchsterTv, MultiTwitch, or Squad Stream. These services enable you to stream directly from your internet browser, eliminating the need for any downloads while allowing you to enjoy multiple live streams simultaneously.
Steps
Watch Using Squad Stream
Visit https://www.twitch.tv/directory using your web browser.
- Log in if prompted.
Type 'Squad Stream' (Team Live Stream). You will see search results appear as you type. You can click on 'Squad Stream' (Team Live Stream) in the search results or press ↵ Enter or ⏎ Return.
- Categories will change to Live Channels so you can see who is streaming live. On some devices, you may not find 'Squad Stream' (Team Live Stream) in the top Search bar. If so, try searching in the Search Tags bar below.
- You can add as many Tags as you want. For example, you can add the name of the streamer.
Tap on a video to select it. You will see who the streamer is broadcasting with. For example, you might see POW3Rtv streaming with TheRealMarzaa above the video. At this point, you only see the name of one streamer at the top of the channel.
Click on Watch in Squad Mode in purple or gray. This step opens a new page containing all the live streams in squad mode.
- You can click on the channel you want to set as the main channel (making it appear larger). Doing this allows you to chat with multiple people in that channel.
- You can click on Exit Squad Mode in the top-right corner.
Watch Using TwitchsterTV
Visit http://www.twitchster.tv/ using your web browser. You can use popular web browsers like Chrome or Firefox.
Enter the name of the streamer you want to watch in the text field. This field is located in the left-hand menu and is labeled 'Add Channel'.
Click the purple plus sign (+) or press ↵ Enter or ⏎ Return. The live stream will open in the center of the screen.
- You can switch between chats by clicking on the tab with the streamer's name above the chat box on the right.
Press the Play button for each streamer. You will be able to watch multiple streams simultaneously. If you encounter an error message, click on the ghost icon and then select 'Watch in Squad Mode'.
- If you want to remove a channel, click on Clear Channels and repeat Steps 2-3 to reopen the channel. This option is located in the left-hand menu.
Watch Using MultiTwitch
Visit http://www.multitwitch.tv/ using your web browser. You can use popular web browsers like Chrome or Firefox.
Click on the address bar at the top of the page. Do not delete the existing address already present there.
Type the names of the Twitch streamers after the website address.
- Separate the names with a forward slash /. The entire line should look something like this: multitwitch.tv/gunnermaniac3/narcissawright.
Press ↵ Enter or ⏎ Return to open the live stream. You will be redirected to a new page containing the videos of each streamer you entered.
Press the Play button in each channel to watch them simultaneously. Now you can watch multiple Twitch streamers at the same time.
- You can click the Change Streams button at the bottom-right to remove or add channels.
- You can click the Toggle Chat button at the bottom-right to hide or show the chat box.
