Process Overview
How to Obtain the Counter Glove in Slap Battles

- Tip #1: Use mobility gloves like Balloony, Charge, Grapple, Phase, Space, and Speedrun to quickly check each island for the keypad.
-
Tip #2:
- Tip #3: Use shift-lock behind the lobby portals to peek through the wall and spot the keypad on Slapple Island.

- Tip #1: Pim is faster than you, but it can’t fit through narrow gaps. Try making sharp turns and running through tight spaces to stay ahead. Avoid wide, straight hallways!
- Tip #2: You can attempt to trap Pim by running to the far wall. As a bonus, you’ll be near one of the possible spawn locations for the Counter Glove.
- Tip #3: If Pim catches you, you’ll be sent back to the main game—but you can always try again!

- Tip: The Counter Glove emits a blue glow and makes a soft, sparkling sound, similar to the other relics in the maze.
- Once you collect the glove, you’ll be transported back to the main game. It’s that simple!
How to Use the Counter Glove

- Fist of the North Star: You’ll teleport behind the target, walk past them saying, “Omae wa mou shindeiru!” (Japanese for “You are already dead!”). A shockwave will push the target back, dealing about 100 knockback damage.
- Death Counter from One Punch Man: Teleport behind the target, charge a slap, and the screen will go black with the Japanese symbol for “death” flashing. A red fist will appear, followed by a punch that sends the target flying with massive knockback damage.
- Dragon Ball Z: Your character will shout “No,” and unleash a huge shockwave while glowing with a yellow aura. The shockwave will deal roughly 60 knockback damage to the target and anyone else caught in the blast radius.

- You can also use the Counter Glove to negate knockback from gloves like Ping Pong, which hit multiple targets but also harm the user.
Advantages and Disadvantages of the Counter Glove

- The glove’s animation is a bit quicker than the counter window, which can trick other players into being hit. You can also exploit players who try to fake a slap by hitting them during their feint.
- Lastly, it’s a valuable tool against Killstreak players or anyone using OVERKILL, as the OVERKILL Hot Touch passive triggers the glove’s power.

- Users of Reverse can reflect the Counter Glove’s power back at you if they’re fast enough. Also, the glove cannot counter Replica clones, Shukuchi’s ability, or Joust’s horse.
- The cutscenes are completely random, and you can’t move until they end. Afterward, the glove has a fairly long cooldown before it can be used again.
