Chest Loot In Java Edition, stronghold altar chests have a 23% chance of containing an Ender Pearl, while Bedrock Edition has a 22.4% chance.
- Additionally, you can always find two Ender Pearls in the trapped chest within the fake end portal room of woodland mansions.

Uses of Ender Pearls
Teleportation Throwing an Ender Pearl will teleport you to wherever it lands. However, you'll take two and a half hearts of fall damage upon landing unless you're wearing armor with Protection or Feather Falling enchantments.
- The pearl can travel between 30 to 42 blocks upwards or 54 to 64 blocks forward, depending on how fast you throw it. For the best distance, aim to throw the pearl at about a 35-degree angle.
- Ender Pearls have a one-second cooldown between throws.
- You can throw Ender Pearls into End Gateways to access the outer regions of the End.
- Ender Pearls can also be thrown into an exit portal to return to your spawn point.
- Bubble columns influence Ender Pearls, and they can be used to store them indefinitely.

Remote Gateway To unlock the Remote Gateway advancement, throw an Ender Pearl through an End Gateway. Alternatively, you can either fly or walk into the End Gateway to achieve this advancement.
Bullseye To obtain the Bullseye advancement, hit a Target block from 30 blocks away using a projectile. Ender Pearls count as a projectile for this achievement.
