Full Instructions

Find an Applin. Applin hides in trees across Paldea, so don’t expect to spot one on the ground. To catch it, dash into trees—a move unlocked by completing the Stony Cliff Titan quest. Look in these areas:
- East Province Areas One and Two
- South Province Areas One and Two
- Tagtree Thicket
- West Province Area Three
- Apple Hills (The Teal Mask DLC)
- Kitakami Road (The Teal Mask DLC)
- Mossfell Confluence (The Teal Mask DLC)
- 1 Star Raid Battles
- 2 and 3 Star Raid Battles (The Teal Mask DLC)

Travel to Mossfell Confluence. You'll need access to The Teal Mask DLC to reach this area and get the item required to evolve Applin into Dipplin.

Buy a Syrupy Apple for 500 Pokédollars. Head to the vendor in Mossfell Confluence and grab a Syrupy Apple—this is what you’ll use to evolve your Applin.

Use the Syrupy Apple on Applin to evolve it into Dipplin. No extra steps—just apply the item and your Applin becomes Dipplin.
- Dipplin can also appear in 4 Star Raid Battles in The Teal Mask DLC, but it’s a rare encounter.
