There are several ways to fix the issue of Beats headphones not appearing in the Bluetooth device list, such as charging the battery if it's low or removing any Bluetooth interference. Today, Mytour will guide you through some steps to resolve this problem and get your Beats headphones visible in the available Bluetooth devices list.
Steps
Move your Beats headphones closer to the device.

Stay within 9 meters of the other device. Bluetooth has a range of 9 meters, so make sure you are not too far away. Also, microwaves, wireless routers, and other electronic devices can cause Bluetooth interference. Therefore, you should take steps to reduce their impact or move to a different area.
Ensure that your headphones are fully charged.

Charge your Beats headphones (if they are wireless, they rely on battery power). When the battery runs out, the headphones will stop working and therefore won't appear in the available Bluetooth device list.
- If the headphones are on but still not showing up in the Bluetooth device list, proceed to the next step.
Put the headphones into pairing mode.

You won't see your Beats headphones in the available Bluetooth devices list unless they are in pairing mode. Press and hold the power button on the Beats headphones for about 5 seconds, or until the light starts blinking.
- Once in pairing mode, the headphones will appear in the available Bluetooth devices list.
Update the firmware.

This solution is applicable only to computers and Android devices, as iOS devices (such as iPhones and iPods) automatically update Beats. If the firmware on your device is outdated, you may experience issues while using your Beats headphones.
- Use the Beats app for Android to download the latest firmware update.
Disconnect and reconnect your Beats headphones.

On iOS, go to Settings > Bluetooth > Your Device > Forget This Device. On a Mac, open System Preferences > Bluetooth > Your Device > X > Forget Device. For Android devices, uninstall the Beats mobile app, forget the Bluetooth connection in Settings > Connections > Bluetooth > Your Device > Unpair, and then reinstall the app.
- After selecting 'Forget Device,' you will need to pair your headphones again.
Reset your Beats headphones.

Resetting will remove all connections from your Beats headphones. This should only be used as a last resort if other methods have not worked, as it will reset all connections on your Beats headphones.
- To reset the Solo Wireless, Solo Pro, Solo3 Wireless, and Studio3 Wireless models, press and hold the power button and the volume down button (or multifunction button) for about 10 seconds until the LED light or Fuel Gauge flashes.
- For Studio, Studio Wireless, and Solo2 Wireless headphones, press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds. On the Solo2 Wireless, the LED Fuel Gauge will flash white, then a red light will flash; this sequence will repeat three times. When the lights stop flashing, the reset is complete.
- For wired in-ear headphones like BeatsX, Powerbeats, Powerbeats2, and Powerbeats3, press and hold the power button and the volume down button for 10 seconds.
- If you are using wireless in-ear headphones like Powerbeats Pro, place both earphones into the case, then press and hold the system button for about 15 seconds or until the LED flashes red and white. When the white LED flashes continuously, you can proceed to pair the headphones with your Android, iPhone, Mac, etc.
Tips
- If your Beats headphones were previously paired with another device, they might not appear in the device search list. To resolve this, disable Bluetooth on all other devices at home (such as phones, computers, gaming consoles, etc.). Then, pair your Beats headphones with the device you wish to use them with.
- There may be situations where your Beats headphones are connected, but no sound is coming through. Check the sound settings (on iOS: Settings > Bluetooth > Your Beats; on Mac: System Preferences > Sound > Your Beats; on PC: Sound Settings > Your Beats) as well as the volume. Try playing a song you’ve downloaded on the device while adjusting these settings, or increase the volume to check for any changes.
- If you’re using an Android device, ensure the Beats app is running properly.
