The first female artists to win Best Rap Performance
Recipients: Megan Thee Stallion and Beyoncé

The longest gap between Album of the Year nominations
Recipient: Ray Charles
Ray Charles received his first Album of the Year nomination for 1961’s Genius + Soul = Jazz and his last for 2004’s Genius Loves Company, setting a record with a 43-year gap between nominations. He also came close to being among the top Grammy winners, having won 17 awards in total.
The most nominations for Song of the Year

Taylor Swift broke the record for the most Song of the Year nominations, securing her seventh for “Anti-Hero” from her 2022 album Midnights. (She was previously tied with Paul McCartney and Lionel Richie at six.) Despite her 14 Grammy wins, she has yet to win Song of the Year.

In a delightful coincidence, Monét’s daughter Hazel became the youngest Grammy nominee at just under 3 years old, recognized for her laughter on her mother’s 2023 track “Hollywood.” However, they lost the Best Traditional R&B Performance award to PJ Morton’s “Good Morning” featuring Susan Carol.
