10. Footprints In The Snow
This eerie tale revolves around a teenage girl left home with her younger sister while their parents were away. After spending some time watching TV together, she sent her sister to bed and returned downstairs to continue watching. Growing bored, she turned off the television, wrapped herself in a blanket, and gazed out at the falling snow through the living room's large glass doors. Moments later, she spotted a man approaching the doors with a menacing intent. As he reached for something shiny inside his coat, she hid under her blanket, paralyzed with fear.
After some time, she peeked out from under the blanket and realized the man had vanished. She quickly called the police, who arrived promptly to investigate. As they examined the area, they noticed something strange: there were no footprints in the snow. Given the heavy snowfall, it was impossible for any tracks to have been covered so quickly. Confused, the officers inspected the house and discovered wet footprints on the carpet leading directly to the couch where the girl had been sitting. The terrifying truth dawned on them—the intruder had been standing behind her all along, and what she had seen was merely his reflection in the window.

In one account, a woman home alone heard a frantic woman pounding on her door, begging to be let inside. When questioned, the woman outside screamed that she was being chased by a man and needed safety. Listening closely, the homeowner heard a calm male voice, as if engaged in a casual conversation. The woman outside blocked the peephole, so the homeowner glanced through a nearby window. She saw a woman dressed in black, while the man’s voice continued to speak softly. Eventually, both left, leaving the homeowner deeply unsettled. One can only imagine the grim outcome had she opened the door.
5. The Lost Child
On a typical spring afternoon, a young woman noticed a small child sitting by the roadside, crying. Concerned, she approached the girl and asked if she was alright. The child explained she was lost and tearfully asked for help finding her way home. Moved by compassion, the woman agreed. Fortunately, the girl knew her address and had a rough idea of the location. After the ritual ended and the campus fell silent, students went to bed, only to wake up the next morning to a grim discovery: one of the screams had been genuine. Reports suggest up to 60 victims fell prey to these criminals before their capture.
However, skepticism surrounds the official narrative. Many murders linked to the gang remain unproven, and doubts persist about the existence of a market for human fat. It’s also puzzling that the gang showed no interest in selling more valuable body parts. This aligns with the pishtaco legend, as these creatures would only seek fat to sustain their immortal, undead existence, making the sale of fat a convenient cover for their true motives.
