After using this deep conditioner, my hair felt so much better and softer. Additionally, the fragrance is absolutely amazing. Definitely one of my new favorite wash day products." —Kayla Boyd

3. The Dyson Airwrap is a must-have investment, featuring various attachments that help you achieve professional-level curls and blowouts from the comfort of your home. And avoiding small talk with my hairdresser? Priceless.

"There's quite a bit of buzz on TikTok about whether this product is truly worth the hype. I've had the Airwrap since winter 2019 (well before it became popular on TikTok), and it remains one of my favorite possessions. The kit comes with two barrel sizes for creating curls, a firm smoothing brush, a soft soothing brush, a round volumizing brush, a pre-styling dryer, the base, a nonslip mat, and a storage case. It also includes heat control to monitor the temperature and prevent damage while styling. The first time I used the Airwrap, I stepped out of the shower at 12:15 p.m. and by 12:50 p.m. I had gorgeous, curled hair. Yep, what would have typically taken me an hour to an hour and a half with my regular hair dryer and curling iron took just about half that time, and it was my first time using the device. Plus, the various attachments let you change your style easily, so there's no such thing as a bad hair day. It’s definitely an investment, but I’ve been using mine for over two years and still love it. It’s done wonders for my hair, regardless of length." —Abby Kass

4. A Dip Shampoo Bar, an eco-friendly (no plastic packaging, no water-diluted shampoo in bottles) formula that’s safe for color-treated hair and will last what seems like forever. Flame reacts all around.

"Dip is a woman-owned brand focused on environmental awareness, offering exceptional hair care that happens to be plastic-free as a bonus. The products are crafted locally in the USA and cater to ALL hair types.
This isn’t just my favorite shampoo bar, but my all-time favorite shampoo — hands down. I'm not picky about my hair, so I usually don't notice small differences between shampoo formulas, but even I could tell how much healthier and shinier my hair was after using this shampoo bar and its matching plastic-free conditioner. It’s incredibly soft and SO much less frizzy, even when I let it air dry. Don’t let the price put you off. My partner and I are three months into using our first bar and there’s still PLENTY left, so do yourself a favor and give it a try!" —Danielle Healy
Get it from Dip for $24 (available in two sizes and in additional scents).
5. A bottle of one-step Hairstory New Wash, a luxurious co-wash that works wonders for people with thin and fine hair.

"This cowash is designed to replace both shampoo and conditioner (learn more about cowashes here). Suitable for all hair types, including dyed hair, it's free from detergents, sulfates, parabens, and synthetic fragrances, and it is cruelty-free. To use, apply generously to your hair and scalp, tend to other shower tasks, then rinse thoroughly (a scalp brush can be helpful!).
Not to overstate, but I’m genuinely frustrated that this product wasn’t available when I was younger. This cleansing conditioner has worked wonders for my dry, frizzy hair. I have fine, thin hair that tends to look best when I skip washes. I’ve used other cowashes before, but they left my hair flat and heavy. This product, however, gives me that "freshly washed" look right after stepping out of the shower. I let my hair air dry, and it now forms loose, healthy curls that make my hair look happy and well-cared-for. My hair has always been a source of worry (it’s so fine and fragile), but for the first time, I can truly say I love it. What a dream! The $40 price for 8 ounces is steep, but in my opinion, it’s absolutely worth it." —Rebecca O'Connell
Buy it from Hairstory for $40 (available in classic, deep, and rich variants).
6. This powerful COLAB Dry + Shampoo Overnight Renew will revitalize your roots overnight, ensuring you wake up with soft, voluminous hair. Plus, the bottles feature fun designs that are sure to brighten your day.

"I use this dry shampoo, and it truly outperforms regular dry shampoos. When you apply it, it may initially appear white (don’t worry like I did!), but simply massage it in as you would with regular dry shampoo before bed. Waking up with refreshed, grease-free roots gives me a great head start when I’m honestly only washing my hair once a week. Since this product is so effective, it’s best to use it overnight. Their regular dry shampoos are also great, with The Unicorn scent being particularly delightful." —Elizabeth Lilly
Find it at Walmart for $6.38 or at Bed Bath & Beyond for $5.99.
7. For a temporary color change, try I'm Bored purple hair dye, perfect for those who want to experiment with hair color without the long-term commitment. #SpontaneousButNotTooSpontaneous

"Good Dye Young is a brand based in Tennessee, co-founded by the iconic Hayley Williams, lead singer of Paramore. They offer vegan and cruelty-free hair dye products suitable for all hair types and colors.
I love having colored hair, but I'm not a fan of bleaching and tend to shy away from commitment— that's where this "I'm Bored" serum comes in. It couldn’t be simpler to use, and it worked wonderfully on my medium-brown hair. It lasted for about two washes, but since I only wash my hair every three to four days, I enjoyed a solid week of purple-tinted locks. I was able to color nearly my entire head with just half the bottle (I still have the other half for when the boredom strikes again). However, the bottle is quite small, so if you have a lot more hair than me, I’d suggest using this product to add some streaks or just color the tips temporarily!" —Danielle Healy
Buy it from Good Dye Young for $12 (available in five shades).
8. A Dae Prickly Pear Hair Oil that smells fantastic while helping prevent hair damage and moisturizing your dry scalp, all while giving off tropical island vibes.

"During winter, my hair tends to get dry and staticky, especially if I use a straightener or curling wand. My ends, in particular, become frizzy and wiry. However, since I've started using Dae's hair oil, these issues are no longer a problem! I apply it as a finishing touch — after styling my hair, I take a small amount, rub it between my hands, and smooth it through my hair, focusing on the ends. It gives my hair a beautiful shine and keeps it deeply moisturized. And the scent? Absolutely divine! The bottle is generously sized, and a little goes a long way, which makes it a great value for the price." —Ciera Velarde
Get it at Sephora for $36.
9. A Kristin Ess The One Purple Shampoo that helps maintain the salon-like look of blonde and brunette hair longer.

10. An Ouidad curl styling cream, designed to define and hold your curls while shielding them from the elements. Humidity may try, but it won't stand a chance against this cream.

"I have naturally wavy, almost curly hair (I would say I'm somewhere between a 2c and a 3a curl type), and as mentioned above, I've tried nearly every product out there designed to keep my curls looking their best. Nothing compares to this styling cream. I use it when I'm air-drying my hair — without it, my curls end up frizzy and undefined. I apply it while my hair is wet (but not dripping), work it through, and scrunch at the ends. Gone are the days of crunchy, stiff curls — this cream is so lightweight, it feels like you don't have product in your hair at all. I can run my fingers through it easily. That’s me above on a great hair day after using this Ouidad styling cream — look at those bouncy, frizz-free curls!!! To reiterate, I love this product so much that if I were stranded on an island and could only have one beauty item, this would be it." —Ciera Velarde
Available at Ouidad or Ulta for $26.
11. A Revlon One-Step Volumizer to make your mornings easier by styling your hair while blow-drying it. Feel free to hit that snooze button twice more, because you’ve earned it.

12. A Headquarters shampoo and conditioner that will tackle oily roots and your scalp while strengthening your hair. Truly a WOW factor in a bottle.

"If you struggle with oily roots that make your hair greasy just 12 hours after washing, listen up: the Headquarters for oily roots line is your new miracle, and it costs under $8 per product. A bit about my hair: it’s thin, it’s straight, and I have to use dry shampoo daily. So, I was beyond excited to try this exfoliating scrub and cleansing wash.
First, the grapefruit and basil scents are amazing. I would bathe in it if I could. The fragrance is perfect — strong but not overwhelming, providing just the right touch of aromatherapy without dominating my small, poorly ventilated bathroom. The scrub has a putty-like texture and is gentle on my scalp; the shampoo lathers beautifully without the use of sulfates or silicones. Once my hair dried, it had that bounce you only get after a salon visit — you know, the clean, light feeling. The best part? It’s extended the time between washes and made my scalp feel clean for longer. I used to need dry shampoo every other day, but now I can go two days without it! And with dry shampoo? Three days! If you have oily hair like me, you know how amazing that is.
TLDR: This line is my favorite new hair care discovery in a while, and the brand offers products tailored to oily, balanced, and dry scalps (their tagline is ~obsessed with roots~) to give you the most targeted treatment. AND IT’S AFFORDABLE." —AnaMaria Glavan

"I bought this a few months back, and I AM OBSESSED. I’ve always been a fan of the 'spritzing perfume under your hair' trick (you know, the back of your neck) to make the scent last longer, but this product has taken it to another level. A few spritzes of this on my hair, especially since I've lightened it, helps control some of my frizz, while adding a delicious fragrance that I would literally eat (but I won’t lol)." —Ali Faccenda
