When does a bad boy earn its charm? When it’s the 1995 Harley-Davidson FXSTSB Bad Boy, a custom motorcycle that redefines cool.

Debuting in 1995, the Bad Boy was built on Harley-Davidson's Softail Springer platform, featuring an all-black design from its sleek front fender to its shortened rear.
Even typically vibrant components like the fork tubes, instrument panel, and oil tank beneath the seat were given a black finish. Chrome accents were limited to the front coil springs, headlight, exhaust pipes, handlebars, and select trim details.
While the design evoked nostalgia, the technology was modern. The Springer front forks, reminiscent of those used on Harleys until the 1940s, were reintroduced in 1988 with a contemporary twist. On the Bad Boy, they featured a multi-link system that allowed the fender to snugly follow the 21-inch tire.
The frame, though appearing rigid, utilized Harley's Softail design, which included a swingarm connected to two shocks positioned beneath the engine.
The motorcycle was powered by Harley's 80-cubic-inch Evolution V-twin engine, with drilled disc brakes installed on both the front and rear wheels.
The rear wheel, featuring a slotted design, was driven by a toothed belt rather than a chain, consistent with other Harley models of the era.
Despite its popularity, the Bad Boy had a brief production run, lasting only three years. During this period, the only notable changes were the tank striping options, available in yellow, blue, and red.
