Introduced in 1997 as the "Old Boy," the 1998 Harley-Davidson FLSTS Heritage Springer retained its mechanical design but swapped the 1997 white finish for a striking black. Red or blue stripes adorned the bike, complemented by a vintage 1940s emblem on the fuel tank.

The Old Boy's design echoed 1940s motorcycles, from its Springer forks to the broad whitewall tires and fringed saddlebags. The pictured model includes optional extras like teardrop-shaped front-axle covers.
