When used wisely, credit cards can provide some great benefits. For example, American Express and Uber have teamed up to give cardholders two complimentary rides from 11 major U.S. airports this December.
Uber shared the announcement in a press release:
American Express and Uber have launched a special holiday offer for U.S. card members, aimed at easing the strain of holiday travel. From now until 12/31/16, cardholders can get 2 free rides home (up to $65 each) from 11 major U.S. airports.
Anyone with a valid American Express card can take part (prepaid cards are excluded). However, you'll need to link your card to the Uber app and use the code AMEXAIRPORT when requesting a ride. This offer is only available for rides from the airport, not for trips to the airport from home.
The offer is limited to just 11 airports, so not every city qualifies. However, many major airports are included, such as JFK, LaGuardia, Chicago O'Hare, and Boston Logan, among others. You can view the complete list through the link below.
