This apple cider sidecar recipe replaces classic brandy with apple brandy, highlighting vibrant green apple tones and a smooth, honey-cinnamon finish. Apple cider enhances the brandy's fruity essence, perfectly balanced with a splash of lemon juice. A hint of maple syrup adds depth and sweetness, eliminating the need for simple syrup and making this drink a perfect autumn treat.
For an elegant nutmeg garnish, use a whole nutmeg and grate it using a microplane or the fine side of a box grater. Freshly grated nutmeg offers a stronger aroma and a more visually striking presentation compared to pre-ground options.
