Here’s how it works: after installing the Atraci app, simply pick a song you want to hear. The service then locates a YouTube video with high sound quality and streams it directly to you. The actual video also plays in the bottom left corner of your screen—you can enlarge it if you'd like to watch, though Atraci is primarily focused on providing audio streaming.
You can search by artist or track name, or combine both, and easily create personalized playlists with your favorite songs. In essence, Atraci offers a more effective way to browse YouTube music videos and organize them into custom playlists.
There are a few drawbacks to consider. Atraci is still in its early stages, being developed by creators in their spare time, so certain features are not yet available. For example, you can’t reorder songs in your playlist after they've been added, although there is a shuffle option to randomize the track order. You must be online to use the service, and offline listening is not likely to be supported. Additionally, volume levels may fluctuate since the audio comes from various YouTube sources. And lastly, there’s no radio feature, meaning Atraci doesn’t offer the same music discovery experience as some other services. However, there are plenty of great alternatives for that.
