Turkish Airlines is accused of failing to refund customers for flights canceled during the COVID-19 pandemic and has agreed to settle a class-action lawsuit.
U.S. residents who purchased tickets for Turkish Airlines flights to, from, or within the U.S. between March 1, 2020, and December 31, 2021, and had their flights canceled by the airline—without canceling or missing the first leg of the journey—may qualify as class members. (Exclusions apply if you received a voucher, rebooking, or full refund for the canceled flight.)
Eligible claimants could receive a full refund plus 1% interest on the unused ticket price or 1% of the unused segment for partially used tickets. If you’ve already been refunded, you can opt for either $10 in cash or a $45 voucher for future travel with Turkish Airlines.
Proof of purchase isn’t required if you were notified about the settlement via email or mail. If you didn’t receive a notice, provide your ticket reservation number(s) when filing your claim.
Eligible individuals can participate in the settlement by filing a claim form before August 18, 2023.

The settlement alleges that DirecTV breached the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) by placing unsolicited marketing calls to individuals listed on the National Do Not Call Registry.
If your number was registered on the National Do Not Call Registry and you received multiple telemarketing calls from DirecTV AC1 Communications within a 12-month period, you may qualify as a class member. A sealed court document identifies 113,997 specific phone numbers that were unlawfully contacted.
If you were contacted by AC1 through telemarketing calls, you could receive a minimum cash payment of $324, with an average payout exceeding $461. No proof is required to file a claim—simply verify your eligibility by entering your phone number on the administrator’s website.

The class action lawsuit alleges that Roblox exploited children by enabling excessive in-platform purchases and subsequently removed related content to conceal the issue.

You may receive a portion of the net settlement fund, with the amount varying based on your Roblox spending. If your share exceeds $10, you can opt for a cash payment; otherwise, it will be credited to your Roblox account.

SeatGeek failed to issue full cash refunds for pandemic-related event cancellations, breaching its Buyer Guarantee policy.
If you bought tickets for a live event through SeatGeek’s mobile site between September 10, 2019, and March 17, 2020, and the event was canceled without rescheduling, you may qualify for this settlement. Eligibility requires receiving a credit from SeatGeek without choosing it, paying for the event, not receiving a refund, and not using any provided credit.
If the above conditions apply to you, you are eligible for a refund matching the transaction amount. Note that SeatGeek has already notified a list of eligible class members.
