In this classic episode, Bert and Ernie head to the cinema for their very first movie experience. Ernie's noisy snacking spirals out of control, leaving Bert to deal with the fallout. (Fun fact: this is from the same episode featuring Sesame Street's most heartwarming moment ever.)
2. ERNIE REACTS TO THE 39 STAIRS (1974)

Bert and Ernie enjoy a silent movie titled The Picnic. Sonia Manzano (Maria) portrays Charlie Chaplin, while Linda Bove (Linda) plays his companion. Bert ends up with buttery popcorn spilled on him, and they receive plenty of shushes. This scene instantly transports me back to my childhood.
5. BONUS: EVERYBODY ELSE GOES TO THE MOVIES (1985)
Snuffy heads to the cinema! Bert and Ernie are absent, and Big Bird struggles to convince anyone that Snuffy was actually there.
