Happy Animal Crossing: New Horizons day! While you’ve likely been eager to dive into the lengthy and meticulous task of settling yet another virtual mortgage and crafting your dream island, the social aspect of the game—playing with others—has been slightly altered due to the coronavirus quarantine. To visit other players’ islands or invite them to yours, you’ll need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Alternatively, you can use “Dodo Codes,” a temporary access number, to connect with others without needing to be friends.
For Animal Crossing: New Horizons enthusiasts, I highly recommend visiting the site Dodo Airlines. Beyond its charming name, the site allows you to create adorable Animal Crossing-themed passports. These can be shared with friends or posted on social media to announce your island adventures.

Simply input your name, friend code, a creative name for your island, and choose the appearance of your avatar for the passport. For added authenticity, you can include up to six stamps. Once completed, your passport will resemble this example:

An impeccable representation, if I may say so. For those seeking more customization, Dodo Airlines also lets you craft a detailed island application. This feature allows you to specify your favorite fruit, list the Animal Crossing residents on your island, and even note its hypothetical location.

The site also offers the option to design greeting cards:

Isn’t it absolutely perfect? These digital creations are sure to kick off an unforgettable year filled with bug hunting, shell trading, and endless digging. If I weren’t engrossed in Stardew Valley, I’d be joining you on your island adventures.
