Country music icon Dolly Parton has countless reasons to be cherished. From sending free books to kids to potentially writing “I Will Always Love You” and “Jolene” in a single day, her kindness and artistry have won hearts worldwide. Now, fans have even more to cheer about: the star is debuting her own wine label, Dolly Wines.
The new collection features three options: chardonnay, rosé, and prosecco. Availability, however, varies by region.
The chardonnay, boasting flavors of “white peach, sweet cream, and toasty oak,” is sold in the U.S. for $15 on Vivino and in select stores at different prices. Canadian fans can expect the wine to hit shelves this winter.
This September, Dolly Wines will debut its rosé and prosecco in the UK only. Both varieties will be available at ASDA, both in stores and online. The rosé, priced at £9.50 ($12.42), features flavors of strawberry, sea spray, and floral tones. The prosecco, selling for £11 ($14.38), offers a blend of peach, apricot, apple, and pear. Additionally, Australia will welcome a sparkling wine from the brand in September 2024, with further details to be announced.
For those eager to sample the entire Dolly wine collection, there’s hope without traveling abroad. The brand’s FAQ page states, “we’ve been working tirelessly to introduce other varietals in the U.S., with ambitious plans to release prosecco in the near future.”
As per Dolly Parton’s official website, the singer teamed up with Parton Family Cellars and Australia’s Accolade Wines to bring these wines to life. Parton played an active role in the process, offering input on the wine’s flavor profile and label designs.
