As life returns to normal, we might find ourselves dedicating less time to home upgrades—especially compared to the past 18 months. Being confined at home with limited social opportunities allowed us to focus on improving our living spaces and finally completing those long-pending tasks.
While some DIY projects don’t go as expected, others turn out better than we imagined. If your creations fall into the latter category, it’s time to showcase your achievements. Thanks to a photo competition, you now have the perfect opportunity. Here’s everything you need to know.
The Home Improvement Masterpiece Photo Challenge
Workshopedia has introduced their inaugural DIY Home Improvement Masterpiece Photo Contest, offering participants the chance to display images of their finest home DIY endeavors for an opportunity to win $1,000.
What qualifies as a DIY project? Here’s Workshopedia’s definition:
If you completed it yourself and it’s related to a home or garden project, it qualifies. Whether it’s a shelf, an outdoor shower, a planter, or anything else, we encourage highly imaginative and artistic photos of anything you’ve constructed or designed for your or someone else’s home or outdoor space.
How to Participate in the DIY Home Improvement Masterpiece Photo Contest
Now is the time to browse through your phone’s photo gallery and select the best images of your project. If you didn’t take pictures earlier, you can also capture new ones now.
To participate, you must be 18 years or older and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Although you may have an entire collection of DIY triumphs, only one photo per person is allowed for this competition.
When you’re prepared to submit, complete this entry form, which includes uploading your photo, by Friday, July 16, 2021. The winner will be revealed on Friday, August 6th.
