As life returns to normal, we might be spending less time on home improvement tasks—especially compared to the last year and a half. The lockdown kept us home with limited socializing, giving us more time to focus on our living spaces and finally tackle those lingering tasks.
While not every DIY project goes as planned, some can turn out even better than expected. If your project falls into the second category, it’s time to show off your work. Thanks to a photo contest, you now have the perfect opportunity. Here’s what you need to know.
The Home Improvement Masterpiece Photography Contest
Workshopedia has just launched its first-ever DIY Home Improvement Masterpiece Photo Contest, offering people the chance to submit photos of their best home DIY projects and win $1,000.
So, what qualifies as a DIY project? Here’s how Workshopedia defines it:
If you built it yourself and it’s a home or garden project, it counts. Whether it’s a shelf, an outdoor shower, a planter, or anything else, we welcome creative and stylish photos of anything you’ve crafted for your own or someone else’s home or garden.
How to enter the DIY Home Improvement Masterpiece Photo Contest
It’s time to scroll through your phone’s photo gallery and pick the best pictures of your project. If you didn’t capture it the first time, feel free to snap a new one now.
To enter, you must be at least 18 years old and a citizen or permanent resident of the United States. While you may have a full collection of your DIY achievements, only one photo per person is allowed for this contest.
When you’re ready to submit, complete this entry form, including uploading your photo, by Friday, July 16, 2021. The winner will be revealed on Friday, August 6th.
