In recent times, yoga has been embraced by the animal world, with unique programs like goat yoga in Oregon and cat yoga
Now, flamingo yoga joins the trend. At the Baha Mar Resort in the Bahamas, guests can participate in yoga sessions accompanied by four pink flamingos—Baha, Lynden, Indy, and Luca. These feathered companions interact with participants, exploring their poses with curious beaks. A dedicated flamingo handler oversees the birds, while the yoga instructor guides the human attendees.

Flamingos, known for their sociable nature and impressive stature, grow to heights of four or five feet while maintaining a lightweight frame of four to eight pounds. Their vibrant pink hue is derived from the beta-carotene found in their seafood diet, and without it, their feathers would fade to white.
The flamingo yoga sessions are scheduled every Wednesday morning, priced at $40, and accessible to guests staying at any of the three Baha Mar resorts: Grand Hyatt, Rosewood, and SLS Baha Mar. Private sessions can also be arranged upon request, or visitors can enjoy a daily flamingo parade. For those unable to attend, Alpaca dance classes in Manitoba offer an equally unique and memorable vacation experience.
