The headline may ring a bell—this same baby formula, previously recalled in March 'out of caution,' somehow found its way to a retailer in Nashville, Tennessee, and was then distributed to eight states.
The Gerber Good Start SoothePro™ Powdered Infant Formula is potentially tainted with Cronobacter sakazakii, a naturally occurring bacteria that typically causes no symptoms in most children and adults. However, for premature infants, those under two months old, or infants with weakened immune systems, it can lead to severe symptoms such as fever, poor feeding, excessive crying, or low energy.
