Financial planners offer expert advice on managing your money, but their services can be expensive. The good news is that some have come together to provide this guidance for free on 'Financial Planning Day.'
The event was initiated by four non-profit financial organizations and will be held in select U.S. cities. Here's how it works:
At each local Financial Planning Day, you’ll find highly skilled CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professionals volunteering their time and knowledge to offer free one-on-one consultations and group workshops covering important personal finance topics. Best of all, there's no obligation – these volunteer planners won't be selling products, handing out business cards, or collecting personal information.
Along with personalized advice, you can attend workshops that address various financial topics, including budgeting, retirement planning, education savings, debt management, and more.
Most events will take place this Saturday, October 25th. Visit the site to find out if there’s one happening near you.
