But as you accumulate more files and run more programs at once, the performance starts to dip. If your laptop takes a long time to start or becomes unresponsive, it might be time to upgrade your RAM.

How to Install RAM
Although it may appear complicated, once you open the back panel of your laptop, you’ll find all the tools necessary to upgrade your RAM.After purchasing the appropriate RAM module, you can start the installation process. Before doing anything, ensure the laptop is fully powered off and unplugged to avoid any electrical hazards. It's also a good idea to wear an antistatic wrist strap to prevent damaging the new RAM with static electricity.
After powering down your laptop, locate the memory compartment. While the placement of this slot varies by manufacturer, you’ll usually find it on the underside of the device. Use the right screwdriver to open the compartment door and check inside. Typically, there are two RAM slots.
