Hey everyone (and fellow Swifties, of course!) I’m Heather, and I’ve been a devoted Taylor Swift fan since way back in 2006. When I discovered I was pregnant again, I immediately decided to throw a laid-back, budget-friendly, yet absolutely fabulous Taylor Swift–inspired celebration ✨. Consider this your cue to host your own Eras-themed baby shower!

I’m a mom to an almost 2-year-old boy and expecting a baby girl this spring. My first child was born during the pandemic, so I skipped a traditional baby shower. This time, I was thrilled to plan a "sprinkle" exactly how I wanted. As someone who likes to take control (hello, eldest-daughter syndrome) and with Gestational Diabetes limiting my diet, I wanted an event that felt stress-free and fun.
I kept it intimate, inviting only close girlfriends, my mom, and sisters. I went all out with my Taylor Swift theme without breaking the bank — and you can too!
Quick note: my Eras shirt is no longer in stock, but you can find a similar one for my son Noah from Land of Custom Tee on Etsy (support small businesses!) for $7.15+ (available in sizes 3M–18M, 2T–5T, and two designs).
Let’s start with the most important part: the outfit!
I decided to treat myself to the dress because I wanted to embrace my "girl" moment fully — plus, I knew this gorgeous floral pink Hill House dress would be a versatile piece I could wear repeatedly throughout spring and summer. To complete the look, I added a hair bow that was incredibly easy to style (it comes attached to a regular hair tie) and gave me that extra trendy, feminine flair.

I was unsure about what to wear for this small gathering since 1. it was at my house and 2. it's February, so I didn’t want to overthink the dress code. But when I saw the new floral version of Hill House's iconic Ellie Nap dress, I knew it was the one. I already own four of these dresses and love how they fit perfectly whether I’m pregnant or not — the brand even highlights this as a pregnancy- and breastfeeding-friendly style! Everyone who came to my home complimented me, and I felt comfortable wearing it all day.
I finished the outfit with a cute, playful hair bow that added just the right touch to make me feel special on my big day. I bought a pack of 10 bows during the holidays and have been using them in different colors ever since!
You can get the dress from Hill House for $188 (available in sizes 3XS–2XL and 19 styles) and a pack of 10 bows from Amazon for $12.99.
If you're looking for a budget-friendly alternative, I also ordered this pink dress ($45 on Amazon) and was planning to wear it until I fell in love with the one above.
Now, let’s talk about the decorations!
Creating a dedicated photo area for my friends and me was a top priority. I achieved this by using a foil backdrop and a custom "Heather's Mom Era" banner that was so perfectly themed, I wish I could leave it up permanently.

This turned out to be more complicated than expected because I’m terrible at measuring things before buying them (read: I don’t measure at all). The night before the event, my husband realized the foil backdrop I got from Target wouldn’t cover the space I needed. He saved the day with a last-minute trip to Party City and found the one you see here (fixing my mistake, as usual). The final result, after he hung it up, looked amazing!
You can get the foil banner from Party City for $9 (available in 10 colors) or a similar two-pack from Amazon for $5.99 (available in 11 styles).
As for the banner, which might be my favorite decor piece, I ordered it custom-made in advance from an Etsy shop called Shop Paper and Parties. It’s designed to resemble the friendship bracelets fans trade at the Eras tour. The shop shipped it incredibly fast, and it arrived fully assembled — a huge plus for anyone who’s struggled with putting together long banners. It looked adorable against the shimmering backdrop and made my photos pop.
Get it from Shop Paper and Parties on Etsy for $10.71+ (available in up to 25 letters and up to three lines).
Every celebration needs a bit of fun and themed decorations, don’t you think?
I wasn’t interested in traditional baby shower games (no apologies here), so I set up a "friendship bracelet–making" station inspired by the fan tradition of swapping handmade bracelets. This included friendship bracelet kits, bracelet string, mini cups for organizing supplies, and the rented version of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour film playing in the background.

I’m thrilled with how this turned out! I set it up on my TV stand, using the TV as part of the decor. I played Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour via Amazon Prime (still available to rent for $19.89, a nod to Taylor’s birth year) on mute while streaming her music through my Spotify account and Google speakers throughout the house.
I found colorful beads at Home Goods, grabbed a few bead kits from Amazon (links below), plenty of bracelet string, and spent way too much time sorting letters into tiny cups to make crafting easier. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend the sorting part — I stayed up way too late doing it and felt like my hand might fall off!
Get everything from Amazon: clay bead bracelet kit for $6.99, alphabet and number bead kit for $8.99 (available in 20 styles), a pack of 200 2oz clear cups for $7.59+ (available in two sizes), and stretchy bracelet string for $6.99.
I added a meaningful touch to my "bracelet station" with a custom art print featuring Taylor Swift’s lyrics from "You're On Your Own, Kid," which inspired the bracelet-making activity. I also ordered a charming handmade box to store the bracelets, which will later serve as decor in my daughter’s nursery.

Though it’s hard to see in the photo, the box features the words "Oh, darlin, don't you ever grow up" on the front 🥺. I custom-ordered it from an Etsy shop called Honey Dew Good — many people use it to store bracelets from the Eras Tour (a brilliant idea). The shop owner included a bracelet and a Taylor Swift sticker, which made it even more special. I love the idea of my friends making bracelets for my daughter and can’t wait to display this box in her room.
Get the memory box from Honey Dew Good on Etsy for $40.
The print was a digital download from another Etsy shop, myPrintPal. I had it printed at CVS Photo for a glossy finish and framed it in a simple white frame from Amazon, which I’ll also reuse in the nursery.
Get the print from myPrintPal on Etsy for $3.
To add a playful touch, I decorated one of my living room end tables with a delightful Taylor Swift Little Golden Book and an on-theme Build-A-Bear. Both items will definitely find a place in my baby’s room once she arrives!

I’ve had this Taylor Swift book for almost a year (haha) and have read it to my son countless times — it was an easy choice to repurpose it as decor! I also received a sample of this Build-a-Bear wearing a Taylor and Travis–inspired shirt, hehehe. My son has been carrying it around the house and will be *encouraged* to share it with his sister once she arrives...we’ll see 😉.
Get the Taylor Swift Little Golden Book on Amazon for $4.78 and the Build-a-Bear shirt from Build-a-Bear for $8.50 (the bear at my party is the "Timeless Teddy," available for $21.60).
I added some Swiftie charm to my entryway table with a framed puzzle my mom assembled for me (a Christmas gift I gave her!), another fun Taylor Swift–themed ABC children’s book, and a gorgeous candle.

Sorry for not capturing a full photo of the completed puzzle! Thankfully, Mytour writer Emma Lord snapped a shot of my setup 😉. I gifted the puzzle to my mom for the holidays, and she surprised me by gluing it together and framing it for my party decor!
Here’s where you can find all the items pictured above:
- Get the Taylor Swift–Themed Easter Eggs & Lyrics puzzle from Haus of Moods (a small business) for $22+ (available in four sizes).
- Get the Taylor Swift Legends Alphabet book from Barnes & Noble for $19.95.
- Get the "You're My Favorite" candle from Candier for $36.
A gift from my sisters that also served as decor (and was a hit with everyone, whether they were Swifties or not) was a rack of baby clothes organized by Taylor Swift’s "Eras."
You can watch *my* full video on TikTok and check out other fans' versions of this fun baby shower trend.
The clothing rack was from Amazon, but I wouldn’t recommend it for this purpose as it was too large. However, the tiny velvet hangers are a must! I use similar ones in my son’s room, and they’re perfect for keeping small clothes in place.
Get a set of 50 hangers from Amazon for $22.49 (available in 10 colors).
Here are some adorable outfit ideas for your little Swiftie:
- A plaid flannel top inspired by Taylor’s Evermore album cover (available at Old Navy for $4.47, sizes 18–24M and 2T–5T).
- A sleeper featuring Taylor-inspired icons from every era (from Bamboo My Baby, a small business, for $34, sizes newborn, 12–24M, and 2T–5T).
- A heart-covered sweater set reminiscent of the Lover era (from Janie and Jack for $30.23, sizes 3–24M).
My best friend used her crafting talents (which I lack) to create a Speak Now–themed diaper cake and a mirror that read "Heather's Mom Era" — both of which we used as decor on the dessert table.

My best friend Kristina has always been amazing at crafting — so when she offered to use her Cricut to create some fun party items, I was thrilled. The diaper cake also served as part of her gift, and it was absolutely stunning. I found the mirror at HomeGoods, and she used her Cricut to add the letters, perfectly capturing the vibe I saw on another mom-to-be’s TikTok.
Get some of the items from Amazon: Huggies Size 1 diapers for $9.94+ (available in packs of 32, 84, 168, and 198), the bedazzled sneakers for $6.99+ (available in sizes 3–18M and 35 styles), and a Cricut starter bundle for $399+ (available in five styles).
And, of course, there were food and drinks!
Since my gathering was in the afternoon, cocktails weren’t the main focus. However, I couldn’t miss the chance to showcase Taylor Swift–themed drinks and add a touch of sparkle with edible glitter.

This setup was easy to pull off — I filled two glass drink dispensers with themed beverages (clearly labeling the non-alcoholic one for pregnant guests and non-drinkers). I used an editable drinks template for the menu display! I also added plastic stemless champagne glasses (no broken glass worries), heart-shaped straws, and edible glitter (a huge hit). A little glitter goes a long way — my sister was sprinkling it into drinks like a modern Tinker Bell. It even looked great in flavored seltzers!
Get the printable drinks menu from Asher Kelly Designs, a small Etsy shop, for $3.99 (I printed it at CVS and framed it with an Amazon frame). The shop also has other Taylor Swift–themed party items worth checking out!
Find everything else on Amazon: similar glass drink dispensers for $54.66, edible glitter (from a small business!) for $11.99 (17 colors), stemless champagne glasses for $23.99 (also from a small business!), and a pack of 100 heart-shaped straws for $12.99 (two colors).
I kept the appetizers and main meal simple (Costco snacks and pizzas, yum!) but went all out on desserts...even though I couldn’t eat any 😅. It was worth it to see how stunning my custom cookies looked on the table (and they doubled as party favors for guests to take home).

Fate played a hand in my cake, which I hilariously (and luckily) won from a local bakery called Front Street Bakery. My family has been their loyal customers for years, and I stumbled upon their Instagram contest for a Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift cake. I won! The cake was delicious and had everyone laughing, regardless of their thoughts on the famous couple. Check out my mom’s brief moment of fame holding the cake on their Instagram page.
I also ordered custom cookies from a local baker (and fellow mom!) EDK Cookies. I shared some inspiration from Instagram and TikTok, and she absolutely nailed it. See the stunning results on her Instagram page. They were the prettiest cookies I’ve ever seen, and I couldn’t resist trying one despite my GD diet (shh, don’t tell my doctor!). They were delicious, and I loved using them as both decor and party favors.
To quote Taylor Swift, all I could say at the end of the party was "I had the best day with you today." Everyone had a blast (even non-Swifties), and I finally felt like I had the party of my dreams. Now, I’m counting down to her new album *and* my due date (which is right after!).
In case you’re curious, I *did* change into my Cardigan (IYKYK) and leggings ASAP. I have a cute photo with my dad, but he’s not keen on being "posted on the Internet." 🙃.
