This year, we've collaborated with a talented group of designers, organizers, and developers to transform a charming 1890s brownstone in Brooklyn's Crown Heights. While the full reveal will be featured in our October issue hitting the stands in September, we’ll be sharing sneak peeks along the way. Read on to meet the incredible team behind the project!
Blessed Little Bungalow (Amber Guyton)

Laundry Room
Amber Guyton is the founder of Blessed Little Bungalow, an interior design studio located in Atlanta, GA. As a designer, content creator, influencer, product curator, and recently a wallpaper designer, she has graced the pages of renowned publications such as HGTV Magazine, House Beautiful, and others. With a passion for making design accessible, Amber works towards breaking down barriers in the design industry, advocating that interior design should be for everyone, not just a privileged few.
Brooklyn Grange

Backyard
Brooklyn Grange is a company based in Brooklyn that focuses on improving the livability and climate resilience of cities. Since its founding in 2010, it has grown to become the leading soil-based rooftop farming operation in the U.S. With over 300,000 square feet of rooftop farms spread across Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Staten Island, they also specialize in designing, constructing, and maintaining beautiful, eco-conscious urban gardens. This year, co-founder and CEO Ben Flanner, Director of Design Build Michelle Cashen, and Lead Landscape Designer Travers Martin will oversee the transformation of the Mytour Home backyard.
The Brownstone Boys (Barry Bordelon and Jordan Slocum)

Jordan Slocum and Barry Bordelon, also known as The Brownstone Boys, are Brooklyn-based interior designers, authors, DIY enthusiasts, and lovers of historic homes. Their design philosophy blends timeless charm with sleek, modern aesthetics. This year, they will be reimagining the first floor of the brownstone, including the vestibule, living room, dining room, and kitchen. Their work has been showcased in HGTV, Architectural Digest, Good Morning America, and Magnolia Network. Their debut book, For the Love of Renovating, is set to release in June.
Jessica Davis

Third Floor Den and Kid's Room
Jessica Davis is the founder of the Atlanta-based design studio Atelier Davis, and serves as the creative director for the luxury hardware brand Nest Studio. With academic backgrounds in art history and interior design, her work is inspired by both historical and contemporary art, architecture, and her Chinese-American roots, as well as her travels across Asia, Australia, and the United States. Through both Nest Studio and Atelier Davis, Jessica supports working mothers and socially responsible manufacturers. A founding member of the Asian American Pacific Islander Design Alliance, she is dedicated to raising awareness of the AAPI design community.
NEAT Method (Marissa Hagmeyer and Ashley Murphy)

Organizing
Founded in 2010 by Ashley Murphy and Marissa Hagmeyer, NEAT Method revolutionized the home organization world with their fresh approach. Originally launching in San Francisco, the company now boasts 95 locations across the United States. What began as an organizing service has since expanded into a lifestyle brand, offering a wide range of organizing supplies for every corner of the home. Ashley resides in Chicago with her husband, two children, and their dog, Scully. Marissa lives in Colorado with her husband and two kids.
Kate Pearce

Kate Pearce is an interior designer and blogger located in Evanston, IL. Together with her husband Billy, she has been restoring old houses since 2016, sharing their journey on Instagram (@katepearcevintage) with her dedicated followers. Their home, built in 1899, is only a few years younger than the Mytour Home! Before her blogging career, Kate worked in curatorial roles within the New York City museum scene. She has a passion for thrifting, vintage treasures, and DIY projects.
Hema Persad

Third Floor Bedroom and Bathroom
Originally from Toronto, Canada, Hema Persad was practicing law before making the bold decision to switch paths and pursue a career in fashion. In 2014, she moved to Los Angeles where she worked with A-list celebrities and styled high-profile ad campaigns. In 2021, after a client requested her help with decorating their home, Hema embarked on her interior design journey. Today, she designs both residential and commercial spaces nationwide and founded her interior design studio, Sagrada Studio (with 'sagrada' meaning sacred) in 2022. The studio's purpose is to assist clients in discovering their own timeless design, influenced by culture and comfort. Hema enjoys traveling, exploring Los Angeles, and spending quality time with her husband Ganesh and their three daughters.
Jasmine Roth

Jasmine Roth is best known as the host of HGTV's popular shows Hidden Potential and HELP! I Wrecked My House, but she's also the visionary behind Built Custom Homes, the founder of the online store The Shop by Jasmine Roth, and the author of House Story: Insider Secrets to the Perfect Home Renovation. Jasmine excels at transforming homes into spaces that are not only beautiful and functional but deeply personal. When she's not designing, building, or hosting, she enjoys outdoor adventures with her husband Brett and their daughter Hazel Lynn in Huntington Beach, CA, and Park City, UT.
Mikel Welch
Mikel WelchPrimary Suite
Mikel Welch is an interior designer and lifestyle expert whose love for design began in childhood when he would build houses out of Legos. Now, he leads the New York-based design studio Mikel Welch Design, and appears as a host and expert on Netflix's Hack My Home, as well as a contributor to The Drew Barrymore Show, where he shares tips on home renovation and creating a luxurious look on a budget. In 2020, Welch was recognized as one of House Beautiful's NEXT WAVE designers and has designed green rooms for high-profile figures such as Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, and Halle Berry.
AlexAllen Studio (Alexandra Burr and Allen Slamic)

Architect and Designer
Architects Alexandra Burr and Allen Slamic founded AlexAllen Studio, a design firm specializing in architecture, lighting, and furniture, in 2011. Based in Gowanus, their design philosophy emphasizes harmony, proportion, and elegance. They continuously push the boundaries of their craft by integrating innovative manufacturing techniques and sustainable practices to create more efficient and eco-friendly designs.
Adam Dahill

Developer
With over 20 years of experience in mortgage banking, Adam Dahill is currently a Mortgage Sales Manager at Citizens Bank in New York City. Adam and his family have been residing in the 2024 Mytour HOME since 2012, planning their renovation before purchasing his first development property in 2015. Since then, he has completed six renovations, with the Mytour HOME being his seventh. Adam lives and works in Brooklyn with his wife, Charity Lord Dahill, a working artist and teacher, and their two daughters, Charlotte and Violet.
