Inspired by Bar Blondeau at the Wythe Hotel in Brooklyn, New York, its surprising twist is the inclusion of black tea. The tea softens the boldness of the rye whiskey, amaro, and dry vermouth blend, making the drink both soothing and warming. Pour it into your favorite mug and feel the cozy embrace as you sip—it’s an ideal reward after being out in the cold.
Out of rye whiskey? Try substituting with bourbon for a comforting variation.
