After earning a degree in Journalism and Professional Writing as an undergrad, Mia gained experience as an editorial intern at Unique Homes Magazine, a boutique publication in Princeton, New Jersey, where she wrote about home decor and luxury lifestyle. Her work has been featured on NJ.com, Bay Magazine, and the blog of New York Women in Communications.
Mia tests a wide range of home products, from outdoor rugs to robot vacuums to bedding. Some of her recent top picks include Shark's PowerDetect cordless vacuum, Brooklinen's waffle robe, and simplehuman's paper towel holder (which cleverly contains a cleaning spray—it's a game changer!).

During her time at TCNJ, Mia served as the opinions editor for the campus newspaper, The Signal, and later became the president and editor-in-chief of TCNJ's Her Campus, a top lifestyle site for college women.
