Funko Pop! figures cover a vast range, from iconic fictional personalities like The Sopranos to real-life legends such as Bob Ross. In 2021, Funko introduced the option to create Pop! figures modeled after yourself, but this was exclusively available at their physical stores in Everett, Washington, and Hollywood, California.
Due to the overwhelming popularity of the Pop! Yourself initiative, Funko has now launched it online. Finally, you can design and order a personalized “Pop!pleganger” for yourself or someone special, all from the comfort of your home. The process allows you to craft the figurine entirely: choose skin tone, body type, facial features, hairstyle, headwear, eyewear, clothing, and up to two accessories.
Need a graduation gift? Outfit the figure in a cap and gown. Is the recipient a Star Wars enthusiast? Equip the doll with a lightsaber. You can even add up to two pets (known as Pop! Buddies), with options including various cats and dogs. The packaging is also customizable—you can personalize the name on the front and include a message on the back (though Funko restricts inappropriate language or trademarked terms).
Finding birthday presents just became simpler. | FunkoAccording to a Funko press release, “2024 will bring exciting collaborations in entertainment, sports, and music, offering even more personalized customization opportunities.” Additionally, Pop! Babies are set to debut this autumn.
A Pop!pleganger is priced at $30, with an additional $4 for each pet. You can begin creating yours here. Currently, these are only available in the U.S. and are non-returnable.
