Amazon offers many fantastic deals, but it’s not always the cheapest option. PriceJump, a handy online tool, helps you find out which Amazon products are priced lower at other retailers.
We love Amazon. We've highlighted the benefits of Amazon Prime and the Subscribe and Save program. But despite its many advantages, Amazon's prices aren't always the lowest.
PriceJump is accessible as a Chrome extension or via its website. When using Chrome, simply browse an Amazon product and click on the extension's icon. A list of stores and prices will appear, arranged from lowest to highest. You can easily compare these prices with Amazon’s.
To use PriceJump’s website, just input the Amazon product URL, and it will show you where to find the same item for less (if available). A list of alternative online stores and their prices will be displayed as well.
PriceJump works similarly to the previously mentioned InvisibleHand. While InvisibleHand automatically factors in shipping costs (which PriceJump does not), our tests showed that PriceJump found some lower prices that InvisibleHand missed, even when shipping was included.
