Princess Leia's Iconic Metal Bikini from Return of the Jedi is Up for Sale

Believing any ordinary Princess Leia outfit will suffice for your Halloween party? That’s a blunder even a Wookiee wouldn’t make.

The iconic metal bikini crafted for Carrie Fisher in The Return of the Jedi (1983) is available for purchase, with an estimated price range of $80,000 to $120,000, depending on bidding. This piece is part of over 50 Star Wars collectibles being auctioned by Profiles in History

. (Note: The specific bikini up for auction wasn’t used on-screen; costume designer Richard Miller created a replacement after Fisher lost weight during production.)

Additional items include earlier versions of the costume, sketches by Miller, and a signed letter of authenticity from the designer.

Other highlights include a prototype of Darth Vader’s helmet, anticipated to sell for $30,000 to $50,000, and the original Rebel Blockade Runner model, projected to fetch between $200,000 and $300,000.
