
While most Christmas movies evoke feelings of warmth, generosity, and snowy cheer, a few manage to weave in a surprising amount of profanity, even rivaling the likes of Goodfellas.
A recent study by Preply analyzed 60 popular holiday films to determine which had the most swear words. While 1990’s Home Alone is relatively mild with just nine expletives, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (1989) ups the ante with 23. However, 2003’s Bad Santa, starring Billy Bob Thornton as a drunken mall Santa, takes the crown with a staggering 255 curses.
