In This Episode
In this week's episode, we dive into the topic of shoes indoors. Mytour editors Leslie Corona, Muzam Agha, and Amy Maclin explore cultural norms and discuss various types of feet—smelly, gritty, and even unattractive ones. Leslie then sits down with Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin, the founders of The Home Edit and hosts of the Best Friend Energy podcast, to talk about their upcoming projects and share their thoughts on indoor footwear. We also hear from TODAY Show anchor Craig Melvin, who gives us his own rules for shoes on or off at home, and Monica Padman, co-host of the Armchair Expert podcast, who argues that it's better not to know what’s lurking in our rugs. Finally, at the end of the episode, disease prevention expert Dr. Lisa Cuchara from Quinnipiac University breaks down the science behind the debate (and shares what she practices in her own home).
